Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

We use Xactly Incent to manage the daily calculation and reporting of our complex sales commission plans. It provides transparency to the sales team and gives us quick access to reports to enable accurate payroll. We use Salesforce as our order capture and sales management which integrated very well with Incent and operates seamlessly each day.

  • Reporting is adequate but could be improved by allowing some of the fields and information that are available and used in the calculates within Incent, to allow those fields to be show on Incentive statements/details that the sales reps can view.
  • ability to create customized report views/graphs that can be used for executives and other management to view performance of the sales teams.
  • Positive is more accurate commission results that take less time to create and avoid errors that manual methods can cause.
  • Minor Negative is Sales teams require more training on the various features and fields they have visibility to on the Incent website, but the positive from this is the sales team have visibility to more information and transparency in their result calculations.
We are able to use the Xactly Incent system to help identify issues with our complex sales plans that can be potential liabilities for the company and cause unnecessary stress with the sales team members.
We are not yet using any of these forecasting/planning functions within Xactly Incent.
Salesforce is our system of record for all sales deals. We are able to automate the linkage into Xactly Incent to assure our commission results tie to our system of record.
no other groups outside of Sales and Finance use Xactly Incent.

Xactly Incent is great for handling large volumes of complex sales plan compensation calculations. It is excellent at allowing viewing of historical results along with viewing version history on organization hierarchy, quotas, compensation plans across multiple roles and payment variables. The ability to update near realtime allows for quick results. Sales team members have much more visibility into the details on how their sales commissions are determined and the various deals that comprise the results.
