Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
Zoom is being used across the all organization as the video conferencing solution of the company. The previous product was quite painful in configuration, quality and ease of use. We are really satisfied with Zoom's ability to handle video conferencing, screen sharing and mobile device integration. It is easily configured and worked with no problems.
- It is particularly stable. It may be idle for weeks and then operate without any issues.
- It has a good and simple tablet interface, which lets even the basic user join meetings without IT help.
- It has good quality and performance in video conferences even between different countries.
- There may be some improvement in the desktop interface, sometimes you may need to stop and restart sharing specific windows in your computer.
- Good feedback from top management, after having a bad previous video conferencing experience
- Provided cost efficiency as collaboration between countries is improved and travel needs decreased
- Kept the initial investment costs on minimum
Zoom rooms are quite useful for our organization. Several meeting rooms are reserved for regular meetings and new participants can join easily to the meeting through the tablets running Zoom Rooms. The app is simple and the UI is very well designed. It is intuitive, you can easily navigate and figure out how to use it.
- Vidyo and Webex Meetings
Webex was a good solution I used in some of my previous companies. No surprise the Zoom is the product of previous talented Webex people. I used Vidyo for a very short time, unfortunately it fell quite far behind Webex and Zoom in both quality and ease of use. Having said that, Zoom is by far the best of those alternatives considering low budget installation, modern UI, ease of use and quality.
