Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
A large number of our outside vendors use Zoom as their web conferencing solution of choice. We regularly get invited to Zoom meetings to collaborate with those vendors. At first, I was hesitant to deal with yet another conferencing solution, but Zoom has been one of the easiest to use. It seems like there's much less to join and collaborate efficiently with our vendors.
- Easy to onboard new users.
- Easy to join from pretty much any device.
- Good call quality.
- Zoom has been great, and I don't really know anything that they could do better.
- I honestly haven't had any issues with it, but I also haven't seen the cost around it so I can't comment there.
- Cisco Webex Teams (formerly Cisco Spark), Webex Meetings, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and BlueJeans
Zoom has been one of the easiest to use and if I had to make a recommendation between them I'd recommend Zoom since it seems to have one of the shortest/easiest learning curves for non-technical users. Webex seems to have ongoing problems with getting some of our coworkers into the right conference, but I'm not sure that's a technical or a people problem. Those same people seem to be able to figure out Zoom though.
