Overall Satisfaction with Zoom

Zoom is a great software for meetings and call conference that makes the life easier with a click. It provides a wide range of audio options inside the software, and you can choose if you want to do only video call or audio. I could describe this software as very interactive.

Pros

  • Web conference.
  • Video call meetings.
  • Group chat between peers.

Cons

  • Connection stabilization when doing video calls.
  • It needs a message inbox, as that does not exist.
  • It has a very dim interface. It needs more colors.
  • Save time on walking to meetings.
  • Great for showing a product to clients by video call.
  • Awesome for a customer service interface option.
Zoom has a unique particularity that makes me want to use this software rather than the others. This is how neat and clear you can hear and see the meeting. It has an HD option, but we barely use it. I'm not sure if it automatically turns on during meeting, but is a very nice option to have.
Organizations that have several meetings throughout their day are meant to have a software like Zoom. This can also be used by persons, no need for a business account. It's great for video calls and conference calls. Its purpose is to communicate while having flexibility; you can call by your cellphone, laptop, ipad or desktop.

Evaluating Zoom and Competitors

The main factor that made us decide on this software was how easy it was to use it. No technical knowledge needed, you can set it up by yourself.
We were skeptical at first when using Zoom because of the name. It does not give broad confidence in using the software, but once you started using it, you define what good quality on a conference call is. So if I had to do it again, I would not judge its product by its cover (name).
