Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

Zoom is an integral part of our organization and how we effectively communicate not only internally, but with customers, clients and external vendors. Zoom offers a simplistic video conferencing solution that is standardized across all industries that makes communication easy. We use Zoom in our day-to-day operations, creating video presentations for potential clients, having real-time discussions with internal users to determine solutions for problems or issues, and communicating with external vendors to onboard new software and get support with products we use as an organization.

Pros

  • simple video conferencing for effective and clear communication
  • application integrations with other apps such as Gong to record sessions for documentation
  • easy-to-use interface for screensharing and remote access to assist users with issues.

Cons

  • admin portal can be a bit clunky at times, hard to find specified account settings
  • more clear terminology on app integrations, what does it mean for each app
  • more virtual background choices
  • Zoom has been a valuable asset for easy and effective video conferencing
  • Zoom has customization that meets our specific business needs
  • Zoom can at times be expensive and does not always translate to universal usage across industries
  • Google Meet is a part of a cost-effective package which makes it very appealing
Zoom AI Companion is not something our organization implements at this time.
Zoom platform offers more specified analytics, although at the cost of only being referenced for applications integrated with Zoom.

Zoom Workplace is great for internal user troubleshooting, client sessions and presentations, external vendor communication, team meetings, organization all hands. It's not great for effective documentation if video/oral account of information needs to be transcribed.
