contact and customer management tool. Support needs a lot of attention, as it
needs to be changed and they must have to be more responsive and helpful to
become the best in the market.

The tool has hardly any drawbacks. Actually, a serious disadvantage is the location of the servers, outside the EU. Therefore, you must obtain the corresponding consent of the newsletter subscribers regarding the transfer of data to a third-party country, that is not secure from a data protection point of view. Also, it is only available in English, which can be a problem for some users.

  • Social Integration: The tool has a basic feed for LinkedIn information to feed into the system. The infusion of more Social Selling "signals" and "feeds" would be very helpful to instill more social selling into the framework.
  • Account vs. Contact: If you are a company which works to B to B rather than B to C there is a still a bit of cumbersome way to handle "joining" accounts and contacts through links. It is better with 16.1 release but still it's a "contact" centric solution which is great for some business relationships like realtors, insurance, & financial services etc.

  • The only limitation is that Mailchimp is getting expensive day by day. Its price is rising day by day.
  • However it contains variety of features for helping users. Honestly I like all its aspects.
  • It is helping us in all ways. I never come across any restriction while using Mailchimp. I haven't seen any negative thing to enlist here.

ACT follows the basic rules you would expect for this type of software, but actually doing anything sophisticated with it is near impossible without assistance or training. Unless you use it regularly it is difficult to use. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have internal IT support and it will be used regularly.

I have, in the 4+ years that I've used Mailchimp, never seen an issue that restricted the use of their software/tools. I don't know of a single time when they're system crashed or went down. I could be wrong, but I honestly haven't experienced any issues with outages, errors or unplanned downtime

I haven't noticed any slow speeds from Mailchimp or their tools. I think the landing pages load quickly and look nice. The email reports and editing operates smoothly and doesn't take time to load. Additionally, when I use Mailchimp in conjunction with Zapier + Hubspot I don't notice any drag between any of these tools

Following a few interactions with support staff over the phone where we failed to correct the issues we were calling about, we ended up going back to the consultant who we purchased the software through and continued to use her for support rather than call Swiftpage ACT! directly. Our consultant was much more helpful in finding and correcting our issues.

Alternatives Considered

Act! CRM

Although other CRM's like HubSpot offer a free solution, I found that it didn't give much and the add-ons were very expensive. Many other companies have interfaces that are clunky or hard to understand. Also I found that many just offer way too many features that we would never use that just made it more difficult to use what we needed. The customized options are just way to expensive for the simplistic offering we need. Swiftpage ACT! just provides a solution that works for us.

I select Mailchimp over MailerLite because Mailchimp provides the best and effective support and service. They provide a great deliverability rate than MailerLite. Mailchimp's report and analysis features are very good and easy to understand. Their design testing feature before making the campaign live is very better than MailerLite. Their editor is very powerful and provides very great attractive template designs.

Mailchimp over the years I've used it has grown in leaps and bounds. They have added so many additional features than were previously available. They are truly an all-in-one marketing platform now.If you're a small operation and just want to add email to your marketing efforts, they're there for you. If you're a larger operation and want to start sending postcard advertisements, they can do that. If you'd good with that and want to kick up your marketing by going social, you can do that on their platform. They are truly able to be as small as you need, but also get quite large in whatever it is you'd like to do through their system.

Previously, we carried out the analyzes in a more complex way, since we used software that did not provide us with exact information about the results of our campaigns, however, after the arrival of Mailchimp everything changed in a positive way, this platform gave us exact and specific details especially the progress that each campaign had.
