Intuit Mailchimp easily powers our marketing needs
Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp
We leverage Intuit Mailchimp to manage all of our outbound marketing needs for current and prospective clients. We use it to create cadences for new prospects who engage with our gated content and like the A/B testing features as it has allowed us to optimize a number of our marketing campaigns. Primarily it has been great because Intuit Mailchimp is an easy to use tool and I can quickly get any members of my team up and running on the platform easily.
Pros
- Free Tier is great to get started
- The UI is very easy to navigate
- Having sequences and the ability to AB test emails
Cons
- The pricing tiers do scale quickly so if you have a free newsletter it may get expensive
- The pricing is based on total emails so if you have users who you only email rarely it might not make sense to use Intuit Mailchimp
- Customer support can be a bit lacking at times and their docs aren't always the best
- We increased the number of emails we sent prospects by 2x with automated campaigns
- Our webinar attendances increase by 13% off of a new email template we used
- We have grown our email list by more than 2,000 prospects
No we don't use these features.
- Sign-up forms
- Campaign templates
- Email marketing
- Customer journeys (automated workflows)
- A/B testing
The primary features we use are the ability to easily create and send email campaigns. We have implemented AB testing over time which has allowed us to improve our email open rates and also drive higher attendance to our webinars which we market via email. We leverage Intuit Mailchimp built in Signup forms as well and they work easily and integrate into our website.
We leverage the generated automations to create a series of emails for new prospects so that we can drip feed education about our product to them over time. Then based on their engagement with these emails we put them into different funnels so that we can take them further down the sales funnel and ideally get them to commit to a meeting.
We started on the free tier and have moved up to the paid tier as our list grew. Once our list reached a certain size we also saw value in investing in things like AB testing and more dynamic sequences which Intuit Mailchimp also offered. It can get expensive with larger lists but so far we continue to see value in paying for Intuit Mailchimp despite our costs rising.
We chose Intuit Mailchimp over competing solutions because we found their free tier more generous, which allowed us to get started easier. Also compared to other solutions we found their drag and drop email builder to offer a much better experience and easier UI. We also liked their paid features and could see that we would be able to use Intuit Mailchimp for a long time and not need to migrate to another solution.
