We use Adobe Muse and this was our introduction to BC, we did not have a choice in this topic. But we have a good experiance with Adobe products generally as we also use most products within Adobe CC
Adobe Business Catalyst has Web Apps which makes all the difference between them and competitors. Without that, BC would be behind many of the other CMS systems out there. Being a hosted system without any maintenance needs also puts it ahead of others. LightCMS is easier for …
I would say that all things considered Adobe Business Catalyst is an excellent product. It does have some short-comings, but it is fantastic all around. It has a nice way of tying everything in your digital presence together nicely. If you do not have a ton of money to spend on …
The largest competitor in my portfolio is GoDaddy. I tend to use them for larger products or for all inclusive domain registration and web presence. I prefer using BC for most everything due to its simplistic nature. It is a very streamlined product and is easy to add users …
As far as the CMS for BC goes, there is none out there that compares. In the past we have utilized Joomla, Wordpress, Mambo, Drupal, Concrete 5 and others. None of them were as easy to use and train on that Adobe's Business Catalyst. Our alternative to BC is WordPress when our …
We prefer Adobe Business Catalyst over WordPress. Adobe Business Catalyst websites are more secure and you don't have to update plug-ins. Saving our clients in cost over time.
I have worked with BigCommerce, ExpressionEngine, WordPress and other custom content management systems. The speed of the setup and ease of use are the primary reasons I choose BusinessCatalyst over other systems. While the CRM and Email platform are not as extensive as others, …
I use Wordpress along with Adobe Business Catalyst for CMS but I strongly prefer BC, mainly because of constant Wordpress updates that I have to manage.
Business Catalyst is extremely easier to use and navigate than most other options. In comparison to other CMS systems, the setup time is minimal and very straight forward.
I prefer Adobe Business Catalyst to the open source competitors because they require a bit of upkeep to keep versions and plug-ins updated; BC does the versioning and updating for you.
Adobe Business Catalyst is our favorite web content management system - it has everything built in and, being in the cloud, never needs manual updating like the open source stuff out there. It's contact database isn't as robust as SalesForce or Sugar, but it works and is …
Business Catalyst outperforms other CMS systems out there. Because it's a hosted content management system maintained by Adobe we have to spend less time worrying about server setup, maintenance, and security and more time building better websites. We also don't have to worry …
We didn't really used many products before deciding to use Business Catalyst. When we started we developed sites using an old product (GoLive) and then created a few sites in Wordpress. We didn't like that fact that Wordpress needed an add-on every time we wanted additional …
WordPress, out of the box, is a very powerful platform. It, however, might need a lot of third-party plugins to make it do exactly what a client needs. In contract, Business Catalyst, out of the box, has many more features. For certain clients, a solution like BC is the perfect …
NetSuite was way easier to understand and implement. The cost was close to the same across all of the systems we considered, but we also had internal employees that have used NetSuite before and loved it. That helped push us in the direction of NetSuite and we have been …
Oracle NetSuite ERP is lightyears ahead with the sophistication and accuracy of their ERP. There are so many more options for inventory management, accounting, and more. We felt that NetSuite ERP provided us with the most growth opportunity and would be able to keep up with …
NetSuite Bundled many features into the core system. We reviewed Plex Manufacturing as well. That was not an option to list, but it was a manufacturing software at the core, but required lot/serial. NetSuite allowed us the flexibility and we could customize inside NetSuite ERP …
I had used NetSuite in a previous company and was there during implementation. While working there I enjoyed using NetSuite and never came across a situation that it couldn't handle. When I moved to a new company and was tasked with implementing an ERP system, there was no …
I think NetSuite ERP stacks up in the middle against most of the above companies, Microsoft Dynamics 365 might offer the best bang for your buck but lacks in experience. Shopify is great as a front end platform buck lacks the overall structure that NetSuite offers. Salesforce …
Acumatica is newer to me in my 18+ years of experience, but from what I have seen and experienced I would recommend changing to Acumatica if NetSuite ERP ever became an issue with price or usability.
I have also used Fiserv, but NetSuite is far superior in ease of use and navigation. I personally feel like it is far superior in design and overall look of the interface as well. The customization in NetSuite makes it a top contender for these types of products.
In my prior positions, I used several Sage and QuickBooks products, and NetSuite is head and tail above them. If you are an accountant, you really get what you pay for. You can build a lot of control around users and locking periods, plus you have the flexibility to easily …
NetSuite offers a more integrated approach, combining CRM with ERP functionalities. NetSuite is better for our business because we needed a broader range of business management tools. NetSuite is an all-in-one enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that includes CRM …
NetSuite by far is the most expensive; However, compared to the 3 systems notated, the overall functionality, capability and reporting advantages make it my top choice for companies experiencing exponential growth across all departments. Its a best in class solution for just …
There comes a point where companies outgrow QuickBooks due to the lack of dimensions, limited reporting, data integrity on prior periods, controls over user access and manipulation levels. However, Oracle and SAP type solutions are likely in the millions of dollars to acquire …
First, it runs in the cloud, meaning we don't have to host anything; we also don't need to apply manual updates for every single computer. I remember the headache of updating Sage on the server and, if successful, then on each one of the +-20 computers. Now, NetSuite ERP send …
We looked at SAP Business One, which is quite strong in financials and manufacturing, but we found it a bit rigid and more suitable for traditional industries rather than service and education-based organizations like ours. We also considered Microsoft Dynamics 365, which had …
Netsuite offers as much, if not more, than the competitors. The price modules can vary, and I find NetSuite's less transparent. However, we chose Netsuite for the investments they were making and the SCA web integration to ERP, not many have that function. The NetSuite/Oracle …
Advanced features that Netsuite had. Easy integration with other financial and CRM systems. Implementation and governance can be easy handled. Easy to maintain and support. Handles very high volume of data. More new features are in pipeline. As it is used across many company …
QuickBooks Online is, by far, a better and easier-to-use product for smaller companies. Only switch to Netsuite if you have to. We switched to NetSuite because we have numerous subsidiaries, and QuickBooks would not be able to handle the complexity.
NetSuite ERP is superior to Sage 100 in that it provides better reporting flexibility and a self run elimination ledger in the accounting close process. We went with NetSuite ERP for their affordability and flexibility providing more "bang for the buck."
As our company grows, we determined that we needed something that goes deeper than Quickbooks, has more customization options for various functions, and allows us to have visibility across the entire company. While Quickbooks was definitely a bit more intuitive in terms of …
In the past I always had a puzzle to assemble, with regards to data and management & ad-hoc reporting. With NetSuite ERP, as mentioned previously, everything is in one easy to retrieve place, and all the systems are there and cohesive. Although Workday Adaptive Planning and HFM …
The service provision is good the accounts customer service is poor so I would struggle to give BC a better than average review, if only they could offer customers a better accounts service then the value would be much higher.
It is suited well for its scalability and offerings of options as you need them. Auditing Where lesser ERPs require multiple 3rd party connections to get certain functionality, NetSuite ERP offers it as part of the core already or as an advanced feature you can opt into. It is still a part of the NetSuite environment and managed by NetSuite.
The Web Apps element of Business Catalyst is unique among hosted CMS systems. It helps us solve unique challenges without involving heavy-duty programmers.
As a Hosted CMS, it has a lot of great features without a ton of cost or liability being taken on which is important to us.
BC has a growing developer community and has made significant upgrades over the past few years, which don't end up costing us more, and would be very expensive or time consuming in a traditional CMS
Our client's like that it is from "Adobe" and that it has Dreamweaver integration. This provides them with a level of comfort that helps us sell the project.
Actually with Business Catalyst there is no renewal; once you are a partner, you are a partner for as long as you like. It is an investment in your business not simply a product you purchase...and as an investment in partnership with Adobe, both are committed to each other's success.
I am not the decision maker for this but I believe our company will be sticking with NetSuite for the long term. A CRM like this is a big investment and not something you move away from quickly and without a lot of planning. There is a lot of data involved and importing that into a new system is no easy task.
Overall it is a "plug and play" interface. The majority of the work is done in other software interfaces. Managing billing, user roles and custom reports are all that you need to manage in the actual BC user interface. For my business this is an incredible benefit as I have to leave my preferred software less.
NetSuite is a cloud tool, and is easy to implement for mid-sized organizations. It comes with standard forms/ printing layouts, and financial reporting (both summary and detailed), which are very handy for business users. In addition to these, with 99.99% service availability, NetSuite makes it one of the most reliable ERP tools available on the market.
It has been very reliable. I can only think of 1-2 times in 4.5 years that we have had issues getting in, and in each case were able to get back in within 1 hour. There has not been a major downtime
Most of the time the performance is very good. Pages load in a few seconds; financial reports take less than 5 seconds; basic searches take a few seconds. But performance can be sporadic throughout the day and cause the run time to triple.
The support provided by Adobe is excellent. Though the knowledge base, forums, blogs and online chat questions most all answers can be found. In the event that you are unable to find an answer or you have a unique situation simply post a question to the forums. These forums are regularly monitored by Adobe and its users.
I would like to give 8 rating for NetSuite support and reason for that is below: Whenever we faced any technical or functional issues we tried to reach out to NEtSuite support but response was not immediate. We told them about the urgency of the issue but still we were not getting response on time. Then, we have to reach out to AE to get things resolved.
I had in person training for a day when first got the software. The training was good. The challenge was that there was a large gap between training and when we went live so we forgot quite a lot
Implementation was fine but could have gone quicker.
NetSuite provided me a implementation guide who I did not think was very knowledgeable.
I recommend that you make sure the organization knows how they are going to use the software and come up with an implementation plan before importing all of the data.
I would say that all things considered Adobe Business Catalyst is an excellent product. It does have some short-comings, but it is fantastic all around. It has a nice way of tying everything in your digital presence together nicely. If you do not have a ton of money to spend on a company website, and want things like e-mail marketing, analytics, a reliable web-site, then this is probably a very real option that should be considered. If you want a website that can grow with your company, this is also a great possibility. For smaller companies with less technical resources, I don't know if you could ask for a much better all in one solution. If you want something that can be completely customized, then there are better options out there, but they will be more expensive and require more technical knowledge to use well.
Oracle NetSuite ERP is lightyears ahead with the sophistication and accuracy of their ERP. There are so many more options for inventory management, accounting, and more. We felt that NetSuite ERP provided us with the most growth opportunity and would be able to keep up with our scaling business.
We have been able to scale our business 25X without any major overhaul with Netsuite. Its dashboard setup makes onboarding new employees very easy and allows data to be shared across multiple offices. Its cloud setup does not put any pressure on IT to scale servers or other infrastructure. We have been able to become much more efficient in all aspects of the business.
Surprisingly enough and despite having a second, less expensive hosting solution, a majority of our clients prefer to use the Adobe Business Catalyst solution. We are then able to enjoy the commissions that are returned as we sign up new customers for annual contracts.
Being able to store and utilize data that comes from web form submissions has been very helpful in customer retention since we became a partner in 2011. Since that time, we have only lost two clients. That's 3 times better than our other hosting solution.
Our largest negative impact has come from having only one choice in SSLs. For example, we had a great client in a local and growing bank. We spent 2 months getting the web site built to their specifications and we were very clear on the SSL situation. However, once the site went live, problems arose. In the past they had submitted their site to search engines with their secure URL and that was all that was indexed. Then when their customers searched for their site and clicked on the secure URL, it either showed that the site could not be found OR it said that they were entering to a site with an unverified SSL. People would then call the bank and complain. We then had to quickly move their site to another solution costing us days of re-development time and resources.
NetSuite software has improved our process controls and enhanced cash management, especially in huge projects.
The software has helped us with budgeting, forecasting, and real-time financial reporting.
Introduction of NetSuite ERP into our organisation has completely changed the way we do things by enhancing compliance, ensuring real-time project milestone tracking, and enabling portfolio management.
