Adyen vs. Amazon Pay vs. Visa Acceptance Solutions (CyberSource)

Ayden has been a great resource for us with international transactions. We know that they can be a trusted gateway when it comes to dealing with our client's money. Thankful to have that confidence in this system. It also has a user-friendly interface, which allows for a concise process with clients as well.

I find it's extremely easy to use Amazon Pay, at least as a consumer. If you have an active Amazon account, and if you have Prime, your features (free shipping) are already connected and ready to use. The advantages are that you don't have to enter new payment info into another new e-commerce site and your Amazon Prime shipping advantages are already built into your options. At least, this has been the case for me the few times I've used it so far - on a couple of different online stores. I also had to cancel an item and the reimbursement went through quickly and easily as well.

For basic users it is probably a good fit. For connecting it's API's are straightforward and most would find it an easy connection to be made. The site overall is just not designed well. When you try to look at transactions a portion of the information is cut of without a scroll bar being added to slide to the fields you would like to see. If you need to see the data on the screen you need to make some adjustments.

• Drop in framework to display the payment options

• The experience of using Amazon Pay goes really well if you have paired your Amazon account with an Alexa-enabled device.
• You don't have to take out your credit card in public and you can simply complete every purchase using Amazon Pay UPI.
• Amazon Pay later is one of my favorite features that I use to make any purchase on the Amazon website. It allows me to make payments even when I am short on the pocket. And the good part is that you don't have to pay any interest for this pay later amount.
• In case you have received a gift voucher from your company, you can add it to your account and it will reflect in your Amazon Pay balance.

• They have built the connections to multiple card providers so that a retailer does not need to build the code for each one separately.
• The decision manager product catches and stops a lot of fraud from getting through and causing a large number or chargebacks.
• They also connect to PayPal making it easy to add them to any website as a payment method.

• I would like to be able to create my own reports, like a combination between "Received payment details" and "Interactive payment accounting".
• Maybe you can have a better integration with PayPal. The disputes are reflected all wrong in Adyen, for example if we accept a chargeback in PayPal, in Adyen we see a "chargeback reversed" status first, then we see a "refund" status. This is very confusing for us, we have accepted that chargeback, which means we have lost the case, what are a Chargeback Reversed and a Refund statuses doing here? I think PayPal is trying to unblock the transaction that received the chargeback, but this is a very confusing way of handling the chargebacks. If I look at the "Dispute transaction details" reports, all the PayPal chargebacks are "won" because of that "Chargeback reversed" status, which is obviously wrong, we lose some cases and we win others.
• Amex chargebacks could be integrated. We don't see them in Adyen at all.

• Once you have added the money to the Amazon Pay wallet, you can't transfer it to your bank account and you are not able to purchase an Amazon gift card
• Sometimes Amazon Pay is slow in server
• Amazon Pay customer support is not good for India

• price transparency- it's hard to know exactly what you're being charged for. We are charged a small % of each incoming payment batch, so AR reconciliation is more difficult

Well, Ayden is a very easy system to manage, it allow the user a nice visibility and many details about the clients. It integrated very easily to our system and allow us to increase our activity. In addition, Ayden have a very good help center that available all the time and very helpful.

It's very helpful for our company. Amazon Pay is an easy use platform. Through this app, you can solve all the problems like pay electricity bills, employees salaries, and transfer money to anyone.

Response time are as expected, and Adyen team is always knowledgeable and are clear subject matter experts. Quite often I am assigned an engineer who is not in our time zone and sometimes 8-12 hours different from me. This causes delays in resolution due. It would be great to have a support agent who is located in the US.

Amazon Pay gets a rating of 9 because it does not drastically improve the business. That said, it allows us to offer another payment method for users who trust Amazon and will always or only checkout with Amazon Pay. The support team for Amazon Pay is top-notch and will help get all issues resolved.

Adyen has better handling of Disputes, provides much more detailed forecasts and withdrawal reports. Adyen has a specific page to clear doubts much more complete. Adyen have not fees for processing refunds, have not fess for chargeback received, and have not fees for retry process payments. And your processing fees are very attractive.

The User Interface of Amazon Pay is far better than any other payment gateway. Moreover, I have very less payment stuck problems with Amazon pay, and even if any payment gets stuck the issue is resolved within 48 hours of the failed transaction. I like that Amazon Pay offers rewards for every payment done which is a very cool feature that other applications often provide its users.

Payeezy does not provide fraud check facility and they provide JS based integration. Since client wants server side integration due to security and fraud check as well in place of using another third party for fraud. We went ahead with Cybersource

• I cannot see any negative impact.
• It is good to synchronize the payment details that come from Adyem in our CRM and this allows us, now, to manage refunds and subscriptions in there and get any action done in real time and recorded in all the platforms.
• Quick and reliable it is a good tool to be used for managing and checking credit card transactions details.

• Amazon Pay instantly boosted our sales when I realized that customs prefer to use it over PayPal as just about everyone has an Amazon account and it makes it easier for them to just check out using Amazon Pay.
• The processing fees while higher than the others we are using are the only downside to our return in using Amazon Pay.
• Customers use their Amazon logins for their Amazon pay orders and it is as hassle-free as it gets.
