Read full review Tricentis Tosca is well suited for packaged applications like SAP,
Salesforce , Workday, etc. It also works well with API testing and Web UI testing. Tosca is highly suited for Projects which require a high level of collaboration between team members across different locations. It's less suited for mobile automation, Reporting, and test scenarios with high input data.
Read full review Pros It gets the backend logs that is pretty useful for getting backend end errors The connection with the BrowserStack devices are quick and easy to setup BrowserStack provides a lot of documentation to guide you when you're starting to use BrowserStack Read full review It's one stop shop for all your test automation needs like - api layer, ui layer, load testing, mobile automation. It has excellent support for CI/CD and Devops environment which makes it very modern but much needed solution It can run in cross browser and cross devices with same test script and again saves a lot of time. Excellent results and dashboards gives nice view into results. Read full review Cons I would appreciate if they increase their maximum session time limit. Their current session limit is around 2 hours and for some lengthy end to end use cases we have, that becomes a hurdle. Right now, the session recordings are unavailable after 30 days. I would appreciate if that availability is extended beyond that time frame. Would love to have information about their Dedicated Device Cloud service available on the Browserstack website similar to other plans. Would love to have an option for purchasing a plan that is more than 5 parallels, directly from the website instead of contacting sales team for that. Read full review It does have a steep learning curve, A tool is often perceived capable of doing only what its user is able to achieve in accomplishing while using it. For this reason, its very necessary if for the team at Tricentis to continue doing the great work they are doing to train early adopters of this fantastic tool. Read full review We aim to renew Tosca for our organization. What we lose in license cost is gained by having employee that do not need programming background. We also recoup a lot of the cost on the rapidity of automation. Only the support we might not use as much. I believe Tosca is here to stay at our organization
Read full review Usability It integrates directly in internal networks and local development. The point and click interface of choosing your device, pick the browser/version and you have a working emulation of that exact environment. What else could you ask for? I've set our least computer savvy users up with BrowserStack for testing in minutes. It feels like it's just part of your local environemnt.
Read full review It can be a challenge for new users who have never used an automation tool. For example, it is hard to understand the layout of the screen and where to find how to update the data. The interface can be overwhelming at first.

Appium tests. I've seen tests reliably pass or fail when they're supposed to, with next to zero issues on the BrowserStack side of things. Tests launch only seconds after I kick off them off from my CLI.
Read full review Support Rating I'm saying a 10 for support for BrowserStack only based on feedback from the development team. I myself have never had to reach out to support for any questions or issues, but others in the company have. From my conversations with them, the support was fantastic and had been a pleasure working with the BrowserStack team.

We had an account manager and technical people we could as to talk to. Support was generally timely and helping. They often proposed to come on site to help us which would cost more but could be helpful

BrowserStack got the highest score and the overall price was also cheaper than their competitors.
Read full review Tricentis Tosca is codeless and therefore easier to use. It's a great tool for people that would start doing automation and have no coding background. It seems like it has the same capabilities as other test automation suites but I felt it lacked a bit of capabilities on the test management suite such as defects test suites organizations etc
