It is quite suited for all the SMS, emails, and other in-game campaigns, but wherein the delivery rate I personally feel it is less, and it has [a] limitation on 5 pins for the day for 1 user, it should be unlimited.

Our automations are built differently and using real-time API calls we pass on all the information needed. The cart abandonment and browse abandonment email campaigns are designed based on different travel bundles according to our visitors’ historical data. Likewise, our customer success manager helped up set up on-site count-down pop-ups that highlight the expiration date of specific offers.

MoEngage is well suited for all tech-enabled businesses, as then one can integrate all the possible events or relevant metrics, push them on MoEngage, and then make meaningful insights out of that, and--most importantly--use those for improving their customer engagement. It's probably not suited for offline-only businesses, stores, etc.

• Customer service isn't that great [from my experience], most of the time the team is puzzled or will leave the client puzzled.
• Price is very high with respect to the features available. MAU based pricing with a flawed sense of MAU calculation.
• The way they calculate MAU is morally wrong. If a customer opens my email that I am sending via AWS, and they don't even come on my app, how can you consider them as active user?

Edit: Clevertap added attribution tools to its features, making it possible to track your user acquisition sources. CleverTap is as complete as Localytics. It provides us good segmentation, analysis and engagement tools for a good competitive price. Haven't evaluated other tools because back then there is urgent need and expected that they could provide on of the best quality service but in fact when being pushed for the scale for the growth of the company, it seems that MoEngage team is not able to cope up with the speed.
