Degreed is a software that is undoubtedly worth integrating in companies that plan or require the teaching of new topics and material to their employees. This platform is very easy to use, the interface is easy to use and provides detailed information on the learning that each of the employees has had, these learning details can be viewed by accessing the profile section of each employee.Degreed allows you to share strategic material with employees in the form of a "playlist" so that they can learn in an order of all the information. In addition, it allows you to create all kinds of certifications to provide employees with certificates based on behavior, evidence and approvers. These three certification phases make it possible to verify the information learned by the employee, in addition, they allow it to be known how much he has learned and what skills he has developed during that learning period. Without a doubt, Degreed is the best option for all companies that want to add learning content for their employees.

Rippling

Rippling is a very easy-to-use platform. This is my first time using Rippling at this company, and I love it. I've used many different platforms before at many different companies that tend to be more on the 'clunky' side, whereas Rippling is simple and [...] doesn't take as much effort to learn. I like how Rippling notifies you by email when you get paid. I also like that Rippling is extremely efficient and fast. For example, I registered for the Commuter benefits, and within the next week, I already had my commuter benefits card delivered to my house. I was very pleased by this.

  • It is very easy to add learning content for all employees of our company, Degreed allows us to add content externally and internally and also allows us to organize that content through work groups to have a better organization.
  • It allows me to create groups and be able to monitor each of those groups, in order to know what type of learning or what progress each working group is having. Degreed gives me a broad visualization of what progress is being made in each group.
  • Degreed sends me automatic notifications to my inbox when a work colleague has published a new learning article in our Degreed panel, this allows me to have an immediate punctuality for the reading of each article.

  • As a product designer myself, I have to say the overall UX is very solid. It's easy for me to figure out what actions I need to take are and what the next step is.
  • I liked the email reminder to upload my dependent's forms by a certain date. I probably would have forgotten about this. I didn't have the forms readily available when I was adding them to my benefits initially.
  • The dashboard is laid out and organized well. It's easy for me to navigate and find what I'm looking for. It's very "learnable" and intuitive, I didn't have to spend much time figuring out where things lived.

  • There isn't a ton of changes that comes to mind.
  • I feel like Rippling could turn into an overall hub for a business. Where notifications of meeting and other things could be put in.
  • From my stand point and my experience of rippling it seems like payroll, time off, and on boarding are all Rippling is used for.

Very easy to use. The interface is intuitive and the room for user error is low. It is hard to make mistakes which is a huge plus when you are managing a quickly growing group of individuals who all have specific, sometimes unique needs.

I haven't had the need to contact support for the application usage. This tells me a lot about how great the developers created it. I give it a 10 mainly because they thought of everything; including expecting everyday situations. I can only speak for myself though. I can just imagine that support is great when handling any type of request

I think that in a business setting, Degreed is more streamlined to benefit us than almost any other tool. Canvas is great in higher/lower education where the learning is the actual product. In a business setting, tools like Degreed and Bridge do a wonderful job helping our employees build and show their own ROI to upper management.

Rippling

ADP is outdated in its layout, was confusing to navigate and I honestly never opened it up ADP except to review my payroll and log back out. Rippling is totally different in the sense that you can explore the website without getting lost, and find a bunch of useful tools at every click!

  • Unsure of how much we paid to use Rippling, but I do know we are paying far less for health insurance with better policies
  • Being able to have each employee in the same place for mandatory trainings is easier to keep track of.
  • Always super simple to find my 401k contribution and change when needed
