There are 2 ways to consume GlobalMeet Webcast.
(1) As a fully managed event- which means the GlobalMeet professional services team helps setup the webcast portal, run the rehearsal and is the production manager during the live event. (Picture a TV news producer- taking people on and off camera, launching pre-recorded videos, advancing presentation slides, troubleshooting technical issues that arise, etc.) Typical price for a managed event is between $ 4K and $10K – price dependent on the Attendee Capacity (500 – 100K) and then any “extras” needed such as captions, transcriptions, translations, on-site production A/V for hybrid events, etc.
(2) As a license (paid monthly or annually) that can be used to hold as many webcast events as desired. The license is ‘self-service’ but if there are particular events where professional services are required, the user can add the managed component to a single event,w hich GlobalMeet states is fairly common among license customers. Licenses can be used all year for marketing events, webinars, monthly meetings, etc and managed services can be added for the big annual meeting, CEO Town Hall or other high profile event. Typical license costs between $ 30K - $90K / year (cost dependent on the max # of attendees needed for meetings- 1K, 5K, 50K etc and the feature set.)

Their team was very hands-on and helpful in the set-up and execution of our meeting. I would recommend them, especially for first-time virtual meeting planners. They were thorough and thoughtful in the planning process, which made the execution smoother.

We have seen success with information sharing. Giving customers another way to access our resources has been a huge help for them. While we see good engagement numbers there are still some limitations to getting our advocates to complete the 'harder' challenges, like a testimonial or reference

Jive-x is great for external communities for support deflection or customer communication and document sharing/editing. If you spend the money on the available add-ons and integrations, you could use it for customer education/learning. It's less appropriate for use as a revenue -generating tool or a lead-generating platform.
It's very helpful to have a point of contact to manage communication and the event. We've worked with a few event managers over the years and they have all been great.
We've also had great experience during the production (e.g., pre-recording sessions for simlive events). All the production team members we've worked with have been professional and efficient.
Our main account contact has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is detail oriented and responsive. And we particularly appreciate his thoughtful follow-ups after the events to confirm everything met our expectations.

I write these from the perspective of the Community Manager - You can choose your level of moderation on Jive to match the policies of your organisation. From full on content pre-moderation to to completely reactive moderation, you can take your pick. We chose the latter end of the spectrum, trust your colleagues to be professional and you will be rewarded with professional content.
The ability for users to set up their own groups very easily with out the need to revert to developers is great as this allows individuality. This allows for organic growth with out impact on the budgets of departments and teams to get their work done on Jive. The option is always there to get 'someone in to fancy it up a bit' however you will find that your own people will develop those skills themselves. Your users will also learn from each other and you should actively encourage stealing of best practice from across your organisation.
The knowledge repository or Question and Answer features are the most value-adding for me. Having searchable history that allows your to get answers quickly so the next question can be asked is the reason why you should have a collaboration platform in the first place, Jive makes that easy.
Single Sign On has been a excellent addition for us, if Jive does not make your colleagues lives easier then they won't use it.
You can customize and brand Jive to reflect your company identity.
Although I love the polling feature, there are a few kinks that could be worked out, as the dialogue box at times interferes with the presentation.
Have the "guest" and "host" bubbles bigger when logging in, sometimes guests get confused and log in as a host accidentally thinking they need a password to join.
A kink I've noticed lately, is not being able to upload presentations forcing me to use screenshare. I'm not sure if it's a naming convention or why this error occurs.
I have limited use in the webcam feature as when using it in the past there was a serious lag time making it difficult to communicate, but, it could've been my internet speed as well... I'll have to give it another shot.

The Admin view is not as intuitive as the user view and the functionality just isn't as great. I wish it had almost the same layout/interface as how the customer sees it so I didn't have to constantly enter Preview mode.
I wish there were more included integrations in the regular Influitive package.

Depending on the cost and new features to be added, our company might be motivated to renew the use of Influitive. However, a lot depends on the year to come and the enhancements that can better our experience and add more gamification to the platform. Adding elements that can woo our target audience.

For a large company the cost can quickly escalate so this must taken into account when renewing. For me, the decision to review will be taken with upgrading to the cloud version in mind as well. My power users love Jive for it versatility but it is important to note that you must be prepared to constantly train and coach the non-power users
Generally, I find it relatively easy to use, but I'm a techie, so I understand that a certain amount of training is required for most other business users. The counterpoint here is, of course, that GM provides excellent knowledge articles and training material. The barrier of entry is a bit high due to customer hesitation to "just try it". Training is necessary, but well done and available. Knowledge is a Self-Service after all.

Overall, Influitive is very easy to use for customers. There's a bit of a learning curve for new admins, but that's only because Influitive isn't always intuitive. The UI is confusing in certain places. I expect something to be in one place, and I find it somewhere else entirely. This is the only reason my usability rank isn't higher

Yes, always available and extremely quick. The availability is 10 on 10 for sure. We also have situations where their team might not be working or on a holiday, but if we have an event, they are available and ensure smooth running. That is the beauty of having Influitive take care of you.

Influitive AdvocateHub interacts with Blackbaud Champions and is an on-time response system. What I mean by that is once data is entered in Influitive AdvocateHub, it is updated in real time and I can access a computer and the data is there immediately. Sometimes the rewards do not show up right away and I am under the assumption that the delay is caused by an influx of traffic.

It works wonders. My only gripe would be that there are some customizations you can't make without hiring a vendor with coding experience to implement them.

If a problem can be easily addressed, Influitive Support is all over it! They're fast and always easy to work with. Some of the larger, or more unique problems, can get a little lost. I'd love to see a bit more follow-up on these more important issues, instead of me needing to reach out to find the status of a previously submitted issue. Overall, everyone at Influitive is kind and wants to help!

The support has been fantastic when we have been trying to code our own apps. Jive have went above and beyond what was required to help us out. Bugs fixes are generally very good and they are upfront when they are unable to help or a 'problem' is actually in need of Professional Services
I was taught and made to show all features that could help me learn more about the platform and this was great hands-on training for me. I picked up things faster than others and did have time to create challenges and make changes while someone was around to supervise and help.

The training was extensive and gave me the knowledge/ skills that I needed in order to implement my advocacy program using Influitive's Advocate Hub. I also meet on a regular basis with my Customer Success Manager. My Success Manager helps give me ideas for my program and helps me ensure that it's successful. Influitive is really invested in my success. They act more like a partner than a vendor
I think some of the key insights I can put forward are all aligned to simply being organized. Make sure you have a well thoughts out plan where you have taken all factors into account. Prioritize the list of deliverables, and make sure you have all the right people alighed to assist internally & externally. If you have a well organized plan you will be set up for success.
GlobalMeet is much superior in service and attention to detail for their client's events. Repeat business is a gauge of success and they have much repeat business.

Vanilla is great for forums, but they don't have the gamification/challenges piece that is so important toward building advocacy. I've found a similar circumstance with Salesforce communities--good if you're looking primarily for crowdsourced tech support and QA, but nothing "sticky" for really building a thriving community, or the advocacy piece

For the money, it just happens to fit best with our original use case. Now that it's been sold to Aurea, which essentially halted any support or dev for the product before selling it off to Lithium, we will have to eventually move off of it (this assumes Lithium won't hire devs for code they didn't build, and that's not a bad assumption). So, while I recommend it, it's with the caveat that it's been sold and will be evolving in the near future.

Influitive has helped us generate hundreds of reviews on sites like G2, TrustRadius, and Capterra, which has resulted in various awards and positive placement on grid reports.
Influitive has helped us generate dozens of case studies and hundreds of quotes that can be used in sales and marketing campaigns.
Influitive has generated thousands of survey responses to help our product team better understand what our customers want, which has had a direct impact on our product roadmap.

Hard to quantify the results...but I also left the company before we had built a mature instance of Jive in-house so the final results/impact were yet to be fully realized and measured.
The use of Jive brought together multiple-departments for the first time in our 50+ year old company to truly build an "end-to-end" approach to our marketing/sales/fulfillment/customer service engine. It was truly phenomenal to watch how the internal life-cycle of a prospect-turned-customer literally transformed and unified our inter-departmental teams through the use of Jive Engage.
