Influitive is the home of our organization's customer advocacy program. It allows us to easily pass valuable information to our advocates while also having the opportunity to collect feedback. The Influitive software, as a whole, gives us the chance to provide a uniquely elevated experience to our most passionate and dedicated customers who want to be closer to our org, as well as to each other.
  • It gives us the opportunity to share valuable content with our users. (e.g. first looks at e-books, white papers, announcements of webinars, etc.)
  • It allows us to easily collect feedback and insights from our community members through a variety of activity types.
  • It makes it simple for us to reward our customers for helping each other, and our org, through a rewards store that easily connects to an outside vendor.
  • Requests for product improvements can take time, leaving managers wondering if they'll ever be implemented.
  • Influitive doesn't always take the recommendations of their customers when it comes to implementing Community best practices among their own customer base.
  • I'd love to start seeing Influitive connect their customers to each other!

If an organization is looking to start a customer and/or partner advocacy program - Influitive is well suited to provide an amazing experience for members. Its various features and functions lend themselves well to building diversified experiences that, with some creativity from the community manager, can meet the needs of every advocate. Using Influitive has allowed me to grow a vibrant community of customers from around the globe who are more connected than ever to our organization and each other. I wouldn't want to try tackling my job without it!
If a problem can be easily addressed, Influitive Support is all over it! They're fast and always easy to work with. Some of the larger, or more unique problems, can get a little lost. I'd love to see a bit more follow-up on these more important issues, instead of me needing to reach out to find the status of a previously submitted issue. Overall, everyone at Influitive is kind and wants to help!

We use Influitive to gather customer advocates in a space that allows us to share information, request specific actions for them to perform on our behalf, and reward them for taking the time to do such actions (reference calls, online reviews, case studies).

  • While they offer online support, some of the questions I have searched have not provided as much detail as I hoped or a suitable match. The items that do produce a result are quite well laid out, though.
  • More frequent updates and suggestions for new challenges would be helpful, especially those that are simple and for general use.
Influitive is well-suited to inform customers of events and relevant content and make requests for actions you would like them to perform. It provides a method for managing discussions and allows us to easily reward them. It is not intended and does not provide options to make support requests or vote for product ideas.
Online support is good, not great. Interaction with CSMs is good but could be more proactive. Everyone is very helpful when asked, but additional suggestions and tips for enhancing our usage would be appreciated.

Influitive is used to manage our customer advocacy program as part of our overall Marketing line of business. We use Influitive to support the platform in which our advocates can interact with each other. We also use it to track referenceable activities for our customers.

Influitive is great if you are looking to build a customer advocacy program from the ground up and provide an experience for your customers that is easy and fun. It is also great if you would like to track customer advocacy activities as it integrates well with other software platforms such as Salesforce. Influitive is less appropriate if advocacy is not the primary objective of your program.
Support has been difficult to work with lately. They are fast when it comes to resolving quick fix issues such as merging accounts or repairing small bugs within challenges, but for larger developer-needed issues, it seems that the ticket goes into a black hole. It makes things difficult for our customers who log into the platform every day and deserve a seamless experience.
Influitive's software is very user friendly. It's easy to learn and manage. Plus, our customers enjoy interacting with the Influitive hub platform because they like the challenges and find it fun to engage with.

Influitive is used in my organization as a way for customers to engage with one another. It is also a way for the customers to stay in the know of all things related to the products and company.
  • Customer Support-it doesn't matter how urgent the request is, support is always there to help ease my mind with a couple of different ways to solve the issue.
  • CSM-I have worked with multiple CSMs and they have all been very helpful and patient. They listen to my questions and requests and help me strategize ways to increase engagement in the community.
  • Templated Challenges- I have relied on this feature to help with fun challenges for the advocates. Though I do wish there were some more new ones. I have noticed that most of them are the same as of 3 yrs ago.
  • Challenge Digest- I would really like to have the digest have a little more functionality. Such as being able to move around the challenges, maybe move them to the top rather than the bottom.
  • The challenge image/the channel image- This is a feature I would really like to have more user-friendly, especially the crop feature. This feature is not very easy to use, so I have to go to another platform to re-size it. It would be so much easier if I could do this all within Influitive.
  • Sign In Page Profile Fields- I would like to be able to easily rearrange the fields rather than needing to reach out to support so that they can update on their end. While I appreciate that they can do this, it would be easier and faster if I could have the ability to do it myself.
  • Support-is AMAZING! But it would be great if they were more ways that an admin could be able to tweak certain pages rather than waiting till the engineering has time to update. I work on a tight timeline and it's hard to go back to the stakeholders and inform them that what they want can't be handled right away. Again I completely understand that other companies also have urgent requests, but if the admin had more capabilities then we wouldn't have to go to support as much.
Influitive continues to be a helpful resource for customers. However, something that I have been trying to come up with a solution for is a way to know when a customer leaves or becomes a prospect. Our community is solely for customers and right now I have done a data cleanse and found many prospects. Not sure how they were able to get in, and I don't want to delete them. Therefore, it would be great to have a feature that could filter the prospects out.
As mentioned in a previous question, support is literally always there! They are quick to respond to any question or questions I have.

Influitive is well suited to support online communities of all sizes. Whether internal or external facing, Influitive is a great tool for training and development, engagement and retention, and more. Influitive may be the best fit for larger audiences vs. smaller ones, as this is geared to promoting and growing communities.
Influitive support is helpful and timely. From custom content requests and day-to-day questions to full community outages, they have been on the ball and able to get the job done efficiently. There have only been a couple of instances where thorough follow-up and escalation where required. It could help to have a bit clearer communication for emergency protocols.

We selected Influtive to mature and centralize our client community and advocacy initiatives. We needed a better way to regularly engage with customers beyond email and connect our product team with our users. Influitive helps us communicate important things like product updates while also strengthening relationships by helping us showcase the human side of our brand and giving clients a direct line to employees behind the frontline.

Based on our experience, internal buy-in before implementing this solution is really key. Influitive is most successful when there is shared ownership among marketing, product, client success, and support. Marketing led the purchase decision at our organization and because of that, other teams were slower to adopt Influitive into their standard operating procedures. We have other teams on board now but in hindsight, I wish we would have slowed down and brought other teams along with us during both the platform selection and implementation process. It would have accelerated our success.
Influitive support is very responsive and helpful. Clear answers and willing to pass feature requests along as needed.

Influitive provides us a place and space to nurture and interact with our brand fans. Its high targeting capabilities allow us to address the different audiences by localizing the right content and exclusive opportunities to our members, based on their languages, countries they're based on, rate of engagement, etc at the same time we can have a global 'open' space for all our members to interact amongst themselves.

The Influitive platform is very easy to get into and get going when building a client advocacy program. It has many built-in features that make the startup very easy with a not-too-steep learning curve. Influitive provides a lot of examples and directions on how to utilize their platform. It is also flexible enough to be able to customize it in many different ways, to provide a very different experience for members depending on your goals. It can be very "transactional" with challenges and points, very "conversational" with forums and discussions, and anywhere in between. The hardest parts of using Influitive are probably thinking ahead at the beginning before diving in to create your experience - something that is made even harder by the fact that the tools are so tempting to play with - and the long-term management and maintenance. A good customer experience is going to require ongoing care and tending. Influitive provides a lot of tooling around that to help - automatic reminders to members to come and revisit (customizable), reporting to identify trends in behavior, future publication scheduling tooling and reporting, etc. However, it still takes someone sitting in the pilot's chair, or perhaps more than one person sharing responsibilities.
I have never had an issue, small or large, that the Influitive support team hasn't taken seriously and given their attention to. Engagement with support is generally quick and painless. There is also a great user community that is monitored to some degree, and general questions are often already available there or answered in short order.
Setting up and running Influitive is great, and they make it easier all the time. However, it does require someone with creative vision and dedication to keep the environment up and running and moving forward.

We are a API company. We used Influitive to power our developer community platform. We have thousands of developers all over the world. Our goal is to encourage and motivate developers to use our API and innovate upon it. We also hope to use the platform to discover some new use cases. Developer awareness and innovation are our keys to success.

Influitive is pretty good at getting the community excited and interested in the company's product, especially the non-technical product. If it's a non-technical product, I noticed that people tend to be more active to engage with the brand's activity, no matter if it is to promote it on social media or a higher level of activity commitment. I just hope they can have more use cases.
Influitive support went above and beyond. They are pretty responsive and helpful. There are several instances that the platform crashed and they are always there to help via email. Nothing to complain about there. Another instance is when we had to do a SSO upgrade, they actually assigned someone to learn about our need in terms of an upgrade and went above and beyond to make sure the SSO connection was ready to use with our internal system. Bravo!

Influitive is great if you want to manage community within your business and give your customers an open forum to discuss with each other & your brand. It does take a lot of work & time to manage so would recommend Influitive if you're a company with the resources to truly put behind it.
Excellent support- that's Influitive's best feature in my opinion. Support is fast to resolve issues and the customer success team works with us on a biweekly basis to strategize campaigns & the future of the program.

I learned to use Influitive at my company where I persuade new authors to join my company. This app has been amazing because it does something not many apps do and that is to generate user feedback by writing a response to submitting a screenshot and promoting something on social media which are all great tools for a new startup like my company.

I used Influitive recently to submit a written response to a customer that I was trying to persuade to join my company and this app made it so easy to do so because it simplified the written response for me and the author liked it very much. Another way that they helped me is by growing my visibility on Twitter and Instagram as I grew my brand exponentially.
I think this is the best app that I have used so far to increase customer engagement and it has been great for me because they work closely with you as you try to maximize your profits and retain new customers. This is by far one of the finest applications that I have had a chance to use in the past year and I highly recommend it for everyone looking to garner new user retention.

We implemented Influitive for a few use cases: <br><ul><li>Formalizing our sales reference program</li><li>Identifying customer advocates for marketing efforts</li><li>Recruit participants for usability and beta testing</li><li>Sourcing product feedback</li></ul>We were able to do all of this in addition to tracking rewards and staying compliant with industry regulations.
  • Influitive makes it easy to target requests to relevant customers, so they don't overwhelm others
  • The interface makes it incredibly easy to get requests out to customers and source volunteers. You can make a variety of asks and it's simple for customers to participate.
  • Communicating with customers is simple. Being able to interact on the discussion board and privately message members is a life saver.
  • While Influitive is very customizable, but there are still some features that could be tweaked to allow for different types of users.
Influitive is great for scaling your customer advocacy efforts. If you have a large number of customers, or a large number of customer advocacy needs, you could benefit from using this solution. It can help you formalize your communication with customers so all requests come in the same way and are easy to understand.
Support is always very quick and helpful. Every time I had a question I was able to find a solution.

We use Influitive as a client advocacy tool. This program is being used for 3+ business units at our company and we're in the process of implementing a new hub for another BU. Influitive helps our company connect with our top advocate clients. We're able [to] engage with and nurture our clients to collect: testimonials, peer reviews, quotes, feedback on products &amp; services, references, referrals and much more! I'm very happy with Influitive and their support team - they're supper friendly, helpful and timely. I've never had a bad experience with this company.

We use Influitive as both a customer community AND a customer advocacy tool. It replaced what used to be our Facebook group, and also added the ability for us to reward our customers for acts of advocacy, plus anything else that we want to perk them for. Compared to the Facebook Group, this tool is one thousand percent easier to manage and keep track of, and the reporting tools are stellar.

  • Admin dashboard could use some more variety in its presentation (not everyone wants to look at the same information in the same way).
I would recommend Influitive based on customer support alone. They truly held our hand from day one and continue to support us regularly. We have regularly scheduled semi-weekly calls, and our customer success representative is VERY familiar with our hub (despite the fact that she is the 3rd one we've had in two years; you wouldn't know it from speaking with her). They offer a great "Influitive Institute" platform to help you learn all of the most important things before you even begin to build your own hub, and they are constantly coming up with content that you can publish to your own hub so that if you're running behind you don't have to fret that there is nothing new.
The attitude at Influitive is clearly "try to find a way to address the customer's need" because any time we need something, even if there isn't an exact way to do what we are asking for, the creativity to find a way to accomplish our goal is pretty amazing.

We use Influitive as our main hub for our Customer Advocacy program. Influitive has been instrumental in sourcing testimonials, feedback surveys, user interviews, and a place where our customers can learn how to use our product with intent. We have been able to source advocates to beta test new products and they have helped our Product and Design team tremendously with first-hand feedback.

Influitive is a great program for customer advocacy. It allows you to incentivize your customers to complete high-value asks like testimonials, user interviews, etc. The hub allows you to push out these asks in a really creative way. The Influitive team is always improving on the platform and listening to their users!
The Influitive team is great! I don't have enough good things to say about the team, as mentioned before the team is constantly asking for feedback from us users and constantly changing and evolving for the better. They also have a great yearly conference where you learn a ton and amazing resources/networking to learn from.

The software allows us, in the context of management engineering courses, to successfully simulate, together with students, who improvise customers or employees, realistic situations relating to products hypothesized by the students themselves to verify their marketing in relation to their promotion and marketing. The creation of contingent communities made up of students allows to carry out the prefixed analyzes.

The software works quite well, as mentioned, on an educational level for educational purposes. The simulation of commercial product marketing improvement scenarios through customer advocacy allows students to better understand the mechanisms of product enhancement and promotion. However, since there is no educational version just for educational simulations, it sometimes complicates the use of the software itself which does not allow to eliminate some functions.
The support is positive. Despite this, since it is not a structured software even for educational purposes, it is sometimes not easy to solve the problems related to the functionality of the program itself that arise from time to time in the simulation of marketing advocacy or customer marketing situations.

Influitive is a great platform that can help you manage 1,000+ advocates for your business. This helps you have direct access to your advocates and rewards them through the gamification process in the online portal. This platform helps [you] grow your community but it is worth using for a large [number] of advocates. It would be a bit overwhelming if you are starting from scratch with growing your advocate base.
If you have an assigned CSM it is a great tool with using Influitive. The overall general support mailbox is not necessarily always the right route for our company due to how complex our integration can be with the point of reference. Influitive is being used as one of the customer communities called FlashCrew Digital. It is being used by the marketing team but I am hoping to soon be working with the sales teams to leverage their input and goals as well soon.

  • Always available to answer questions and help with all issues that come up
  • Patient with the issues and help to resolve quickly!
  • Take into account when creating the road map to include our ideas such as the challenge digest - being more user-friendly when setting up/scheduling.
  • I use a vendor Sendoso and they have a help chat box that I feel would be very helpful for Influitive to implement as well rather than sending an email.
Influitive is a great company! I appreciate the staff and that they really listen to the customers and try to help us engage and enhance the experience on our hubs with our customers. I also really enjoy and find useful Influitive live, the webinars, and demos! Thank you :)

Influitive is an extraordinary, powerful tool. It is quite literally a tool that can be used to accomplish what appears to be an infinite amount of goals/tasks. My company's online community is built on the Influitive platform, we use the online community as a source for customer advocacy and a tool for amplifying our marketing content, as well as a centralized place where we can scout candidates for product feedback panels. My personal favorite use of the platform is in amplifying my company's marketing content: through Influitive's custom "challenges" we are able to encourage our members to easily (with one click) share reports, white papers, and other marketing collateral on their social channels. Our members are industry professionals, so to be able to put our marketing content in front of not only them, but their social followers is tremendous!

Influitive is the go-to solution for companies looking to accomplish a variety of different objectives in one simple place. It particularly excels at providing creative ways to encourage customer advocacy and amplification of owned marketing content. its reporting capabilities are extensive and effective in keeping track of how significant the advocacy and amplification generated by the platform are.
Excellent tool for encouraging client (customer) advocacy and for conducting quick client research (including product feedback panels) without the need for additional software.

Influitive is used by our marketing teams, but product and sales have the ability to request content and campaigns within the platform. Initially, Influitive was designed to act as a community for our faculty customers to connect with one another and with us. It promotes unpaid advocacy and lets us keep a pulse on customer sentiment and new thought leader hot topics. However, over time, we've grown the use cases of this platform to include pulling in prospective customers to learn more about our brand and products as well as a bonus addition to virtual events - giving people a place to come continue the conversation.

  • Easy to use!
  • Discussion boards could be managed a bit better.
  • All of our recent requests have been taken care of in feature rollouts!
Influitive is well suited for building communities and for companies with customer groups that like to engage and continue using - it may be less suited for customers who have a one time purchase and do not continue using products.
The support from Influitive is unmatched. Our CSM is always a phone call away and provides value adding support and services with every regular call. I believe that Influitive's support is one of the best things about this company and has really helped us feel secure in building out this platform further and to continue investing in it.

We use Influitive primarily for customers, so that they can network, share best practices and learn both tactically (our products) and strategically (soft skill building, industry news, etc.). However, we also use the platform to drive employee engagement as well (incentives for Best Place to Work surveys, charitable fundraisers, engineering thought talks, etc.)

The level of personalization that Influitive offers is great--challenges can even be brought to 1:1--we've used this degree of personalization for specific big "asks" of customers, and it's worked really well. Given how many different challenges and channels can be created, customers get a wide variety of ways in which they can engage and interact.Influitive helps us identify promoters that might typically slip under the radar. It's enabled us to learn personal data points about specific customers that help us connect to them on a deeper level. Recruitment for high-value activities like joining our research group, doing a case study, or speaking with an analyst is much more streamlined thanks to Influitive.
  • Mass personalization of activity challenges, so that customers receive a curated experience.
  • Robust reporting features enable us to see what's working, and where there are areas for development and growth.
  • Lots of integrations: Salesforce, Marketo, Sendoso, Tangocard, Zapier and more.
  • CSMs are extremely knowledgeable and proactive. Special shoutout to Meaghan Shepherd--she's the best!
  • More "select all" functions, like "assign badge" to a group of people.
  • More targeting at the "notify" stage: there are quite a few activity challenges we'd like to be available to everyone, but only pushed to a subset of customers; and the only workaround now is to clone a challenge and have two sets of targets. It works, but is clunky and clutters up the screen space.
  • I'd love to see a crowdsourced challenge bank, where we can share and borrow content from other hubs.
Influitive is a true advocacy program for building communities as well as identifying and nurturing customer champions. To have it run at its optimal level, you need a full-time admin; ideally someone who is working cross-functionally in the company to get buy-in and content from different sources. It is not a "set it and forget it" kind of hub--you get out of it what you put into it, and to get it to work well, you need a constant wellspring of ideas, activities and creative ways to encourage customers to engage. Influitive does a great job at facilitating this engagement with numerous templates and pre-built campaigns, but if you want a really tailored experience for your customers, and specifically different personas within your customer base, you really need to create a lot of content yourself.

To use the discussion forums only as a source of crowdsourced tech support would not be using Influitive to its full capacity, and frankly if that is the primary purpose of your community, there are probably more suitable solutions out there. However, if you're looking to really identify, nurture and *reward* customer champions (this is key--you can't just bleed customers dry asking them to do things for your company, it's more important to GIVE value to them), Influitive is the best, hands down.
Tech support gives an immediate auto response email that says "we've heard you", with a live person really working on the issue usually within a few hours. When something isn't fixable, we're usually told shortly thereafter, with a few suggestions of workarounds. Only once did we have a bug that persisted for a few weeks.

Our Customer Marketing team uses Influitive as a foundational layer of our overall customer advocacy program. It allows us to create a space to bring our "VIP" top customers together for networking, to connect more deeply with our company/brand, provide exclusive content and feature access, collect feedback, and also connect them with ways to participate in acts of advocacy (leave online reviews, act as a customer reference, provide testimonials, agree to be used in a case study, etc.).
  • The user interface is very easy and intuitive.
  • Our customers like the experience, it's a more interactive channel.
  • It's effective at connecting customers with advocacy opportunities - it works.
  • I wish it could be better integrated into our product experience and other resources available to customers - it feels more standalone.
  • CSMs are great but customer support quality can be pretty poor.
Influitive is effective as customer advocacy software. That seems to be their core strength and I think it's great for those use cases. It also has community functionality, which we leverage less - having this exist in a "VIP" space that customers have to enroll in is not really the experience we want and I think that component of it may be appealing to some but not all.
I often feel like the customer support doesn't actually read what we submit as far as the issue, and tends to provide insufficient answers without needing back and forth to re-iterate what was in the ticket in the first place. I wish they were more thoughtful and customer service-oriented. It usually feels like they are rushing through their response.
