Influitive allows companies to build a community and invite customers to complete challenges, referrals, product reviews, social media posts, and more. As community members complete these personalized challenges—which can be targeted to groups or individuals—they automatically earn points, badges, and levels to redeem professional perks and privileges. Influitive aims to enable businesses to easily visualize and report on all activities completed and the ROI of those activities, while integrating with the user's CRM and marketing automation platform to guide members through the entire customer journey.

We use Influitive to help scale our current advocacy program. We're typically fielding requests throughout the organization for customer participation (i.e. case studies, quotes, reviews, feedback, etc.). Influitive helps us do this at scale with our engaged pre-set advocates list. We recently turned on the Community functionality as well so that we can encourage conversation not only between advocates - but also between EEs and advocates (i.e. Product Marketing managers) on new feature feedback.

  • Engagement is critical for the advocacy program, and always having to post challenges can amount to 50% of a persons job. Would be great if there were more engagement features that didn't require challenge postings.
  • Homepage/UI is a little confusing when the community is added - less real estate going to the challenges
  • Would love to see more slack like functionality to encourage real time convos (vs. just the messaging)
Influitive is great if you have an existing advocacy program and you need help scaling. In my opinion, it is not great if you are starting from scratch. You need to have a defined strategy, understand goals, and have a pool of customers in order for Influitive to be successful. It's also not great for engaging Sr. Leaders (i.e. VP+) given that they're less likely to log in to a platform like this.
I haven't needed to use the support team very much, but our CSM has been helpful. Also, when we had issues with the Tengo card integration (and our very particular legal/compliance team) - Influitive jumped in the convo to help clarify processors/subprocessor relationships between the two orgs. Everyone I've met at tradeshows from Influitive has been great.

We are the first company in our industry to launch a gamified digital community for our customers. My company was looking to educate, engage and inspire our customer base to be active in activities like share best practices and industry insights. Having a marketing tool like Influitive was able to take a basic concept of onboarding customer and educating them to a more fun, engaged level of participation. We are able to see the customer journey through a different lens.
  • Instant gratification alert: what normally took months or still pending answers to big asks, sometimes happens in less than an hour or in real time.
  • The software itself is user friendly and visually appealing. Being a past customer, I have only seen it get better and better from 5 years ago.
  • The customer service at Influitive is a 5 star experience. Every moving part is a positive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Meaghan, Dylan, Diana and Brent are the best and I couldn't have done this without them!
  • I wish I had some, but honestly I don't right now. When you are a happy customer, its hard to come up with something.
Besides being a great product, the customer service is untouchable. From beginning to end, I have had great technical and administrative support in a fast manor.
I am a returning customer mostly because of the customer service support I have gotten. To say the overall product, strategic guidance and support in customer advocacy has matured over the past 5 years is an understatement. Not only do I feel supported, I feel like they are running right next to me and uplifting me in the ways I need the assistance. Most community managers who build from the ground up like I have, need that kind of support in order for the hub to thrive. Influitive made sure I had a strong (and patient) people behind me ptr and post launch of my program. Unlike other vendors, they do not leave you high and dry after launch. I am getting natured post launch in a way that I know my hub will continue to succeed.

We use Influitive for our advocate hub. This allows us to give visibility to our advocates for all the activities they do for us. Before Influitive, we had no way for our advocates to self-service and track how many points and what activity they were doing for us. It also helped bring a sense of community to our advocates. This is a platform where they control how much they engage with us and their peers.

When we were looking for a solution to integrate with our other systems, Influitive worked with not only us but our other vendors. This allowed our internal users to continue doing what they were doing and bring visibility to both our internal teams and advocates without having to duplicate any effort.
In my years working with Influitive, their support has gotten better and better. They are willing to work with us and also bring on folks that can speak in non-technical terms, which is wonderful for those of us that do not have a coding or techy background. They also have a robust online resource.

It allows us to build a community with our exclusive clients and have a direct connection with them to have a say in the future of products to meet their needs, all while allowing them to network with one another in a way they would never have before!

We use Influitive to support our customer loyalty program and various business goals. Its gamification features, targeting options, and rewards section help us to deliver results and promote various marketing collaterals. The flexibility to customize the hub as per our branding also ensures the look and feel of our company values. It has definitely helped us to engage our clients and deliver an exceptional experience to them. The scope of using this product is endless with its gamification and reporting features. I would highly recommend this product to someone who is looking to cater to their customer marketing initiatives.

We use Influitive to house two online communities for our company. Influitive allows us to connect with thousands of customers and partners across the world, providing opportunities to connect that would have otherwise been impossible.

Influitive is brilliant for online communities both for internal advocates and external advocates. It works particularly well to provide connection opportunities globally with your customers and/or partners. The reporting allows you to track ROI and engagement in your communities. You are able to tailor your content and design aesthetic to reflect your brand.
The Influitive team have been incredibly helpful every step of the way. From the very beginning to bringing our hubs to fruition, they have given time, energy, ideas and support to ensure our hubs can thrive. They are always willing to jump on a call to assist. As an EMEIA-based customer, I appreciate having their customer service team available to support multiple time zones.

We use Influitive for our customer advocacy program. We were going to start a program & platform from scratch, however, after seeing Influitive, realized there was no way we could do it without a platform like this.
  • Onboarding/implementation/customer success - we have had so much help in launching our program and finding success with it!
  • Intuitive platform - easy to navigate & understand, good documentation
  • Amazing integrations with common things like Salesforce, Discourse, and more
  • Accessibility could be improved - would love to see room for things like alt text and other accessibility measures that can be taken
  • Some of the interface is a little clunky and I wish there was a way you could do things easier - example: I wish I could duplicate rewards and change one or two things instead of starting the process over
Influitive is perfect if you are wanting to launch and manage a full-scale customer advocacy program, complete with rewards, badging, gamification, and integrations with other community platforms such as Discourse.
The onboarding/implementation/customer success team members have been absolutely amazing. I have not dealt with customer support on a bug/issue level much.

Our hub is organized using the multi-channel method provided by Influitive which enabled us to maximize engagement, deepen customer education, and drive key program objectives. This offers our advocates a better user experience by easily finding content that’s interesting to them, through our feedback we have also discovered that our advocates appreciate such a feature as well.

Influitive is great if you are considering a platform where you can engage with your customers and also track your progress in terms of content creation and results analysis. We use Influitive as our customer advocacy gamification platform. It allows us to engage with our customers while providing some fun ways to engage and interact.

It is well suited for interaction with customers. There is a steep learning curve in using this platform. If this is not your full-time job, it is hard to see the advantages if you have limited time to interact with the platform.
The team is very responsive and is willing to work with you with whatever questions you have.
There is a lot to learn with this platform. If this is not your full-time job, it is hard to use this part-time and get everything out of it that it offers.

Marketing manages Influitive, but our Customer Success and Product teams are also highly involved. We use Influitive to help drive engagement among our customer base, identify referenceable customers for marketing opportunities such as case studies or speaking engagements, generate reviews on B2B software review websites to help boost our brand reputation, generate quotes and testimonials, and gather product feedback to help inform our roadmap. We also love the discussion feature, as this really helps our customers stay connected, share best practices, and network. There are SO many use cases for Influitive, and it has been an invaluable tool for our organization.

  • Advocacy Content: generate quotes, case studies, identify speakers and more!
  • Product Feedback: ask for product reviews and gather product feedback via surveys.
  • Engage: the community enables customers not only to engage with one another but your organization.
  • Reward: incentivize your champions and make them feel like VIPs!
  • Reporting can sometimes be confusing, but has greatly improved in recent years.
  • They are continuously enhancing the platform which is amazing! But sometimes it results in minor bugs.
  • Survey limitations - platform does not support certain question types or survey logic.
Influitive is well suited for any organization that is interested in engaging customers, mobilizing advocates, and helping to streamline their customer reference, content creation, and product innovation processes. Any customer-centric organization should have this in their toolkit! One thing to be aware of is that, in my opinion and experience, such programs work best with a robust rewards system in place, so this is something to consider in terms of budget, especially for smaller organizations with smaller budgets to spend on customer incentives. Make sure that you consider the cost of incentives and not just the cost of the platform because I think this can have a big impact on the success of the program.
Influitive's support team is one of the best I've ever worked with. They are very responsive and quick to identify issues and offer solutions. Typically when we submit a support ticket, we hear back within the same or next business day with a solution. Our customer success manager is also aware of any tickets, so he can work together with the support team to escalate when needed.

Our company was looking for a customer advocacy platform five years ago. A selection committee researched and reviewed many options. In the end, Influitive was selected as our vendor for our Renaissance Royals community. The purpose of our community is to make personal connections with our users (educators), provide them with information and resources about their products, and provide a venue for our users to connect with us and other educators. It is hosted by the Marketing department, but we work with other teams across the organization including Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Research, UX, and more. The business problem the Influitive platform addresses are that it allows us an easy way to connect with our educators, a channel for educators to provide direct feedback and connect with other educators, and it enables us to make the content fun and educational at the same time.

Influitive is suited for both large and small organizations. It is a safe environment (not on social media platforms) to engage with community members. You can choose to open membership to all interested parties or require a join code. It provides the framework and customer success support for onboarding, implementation, and growth. They provide professional learning opportunities to learn from the Influitive team and other community leaders. The data is robust and you can easily see what strategies are working and which ones need adjustments. If you want a safe, nurturing, fun platform to engage with your customers, Influitive fits the bill. If you don't have the funding to invest in the platform, you can start a community in many different places.
Influitive Support has assisted us with digging into our issues and trying to resolve them or help find a workaround. The team gives us updates on their progress, and a few times we've had to reach back out to support to get an update. We can count on the Influitive Support team to answer questions and help resolve issues we report.

We run our advocacy community here. It is a great tool when you have an awesome product that helps to organize all of the customer marketing initiatives. The platform helps to keep our advocates happy and engaged.

Our consumer advocacy program is housed under Influitive. It's a great way for us to share important information with our supporters while also allowing us to collect their feedback. With the help of Influitive's overall software, we are able to provide our most enthusiastic and loyal consumers with a unique opportunity to connect with us and with each other.

Influitive is a great option for organizations wishing to launch a customer and/or partnership advocacy campaign. A community manager can tailor the experience to each advocate's unique needs thanks to the many features and services it offers. Customers from all over the world are now better linked to our firm and each other because to Influitive, which I've used to build a thriving community. Without it, I'm not sure I could handle the demands of my profession.
A problem may be simply solved by Influitive Support. As a result, they're quick and easy to deal with. There is a tendency to overlook some of the more complex or unusual issues. We need greater follow-up on the more significant matters rather than having to constantly check in to see how things stand on issues that have already been reported. At Influitive, everyone is kind and eager to assist you.

Our Influitive hub is called “CommUnity” and it allows us to gamify the customer experience. The intent is to connect customers with other like-minded professionals who are passionate about Human Insight.

Influitive gets the task at hand done when it comes to gamification. But it is starting to become outdated especially when it comes to the discussion forum section. The process for setting up rewards could use some fine-tuning as well. At the moment you’re not able to clone rewards and if you’re using the Tango e-gifts, you’re not able to customize the name of the rewards.
Email Support does a nice job of resolving tickets in a timely manner. But, email is the only way to make support requests and it can be tricky to keep track of the various tickets that are open.

Influitive is the home of our organization's customer advocacy program. It allows us to easily pass valuable information to our advocates while also having the opportunity to collect feedback. The Influitive software, as a whole, gives us the chance to provide a uniquely elevated experience to our most passionate and dedicated customers who want to be closer to our org, as well as to each other.
  • It gives us the opportunity to share valuable content with our users. (e.g. first looks at e-books, white papers, announcements of webinars, etc.)
  • It allows us to easily collect feedback and insights from our community members through a variety of activity types.
  • It makes it simple for us to reward our customers for helping each other, and our org, through a rewards store that easily connects to an outside vendor.
  • Requests for product improvements can take time, leaving managers wondering if they'll ever be implemented.
  • Influitive doesn't always take the recommendations of their customers when it comes to implementing Community best practices among their own customer base.
  • I'd love to start seeing Influitive connect their customers to each other!
  • I don't get as many surprise-and-delight moments from Influitive as I do from other vendors.
If an organization is looking to start a customer and/or partner advocacy program - Influitive is well suited to provide an amazing experience for members. Its various features and functions lend themselves well to building diversified experiences that, with some creativity from the community manager, can meet the needs of every advocate. Using Influitive has allowed me to grow a vibrant community of customers from around the globe who are more connected than ever to our organization and each other. I wouldn't want to try tackling my job without it!
If a problem can be easily addressed, Influitive Support is all over it! They're fast and always easy to work with. Some of the larger, or more unique problems, can get a little lost. I'd love to see a bit more follow-up on these more important issues, instead of me needing to reach out to find the status of a previously submitted issue. Overall, everyone at Influitive is kind and wants to help!

We use Influitive to gather customer advocates in a space that allows us to share information, request specific actions for them to perform on our behalf, and reward them for taking the time to do such actions (reference calls, online reviews, case studies).

  • While they offer online support, some of the questions I have searched have not provided as much detail as I hoped or a suitable match. The items that do produce a result are quite well laid out, though.
  • More frequent updates and suggestions for new challenges would be helpful, especially those that are simple and for general use.
Influitive is well-suited to inform customers of events and relevant content and make requests for actions you would like them to perform. It provides a method for managing discussions and allows us to easily reward them. It is not intended and does not provide options to make support requests or vote for product ideas.
Online support is good, not great. Interaction with CSMs is good but could be more proactive. Everyone is very helpful when asked, but additional suggestions and tips for enhancing our usage would be appreciated.

Influitive is used to manage our customer advocacy program as part of our overall Marketing line of business. We use Influitive to support the platform in which our advocates can interact with each other. We also use it to track referenceable activities for our customers.

Influitive is great if you are looking to build a customer advocacy program from the ground up and provide an experience for your customers that is easy and fun. It is also great if you would like to track customer advocacy activities as it integrates well with other software platforms such as Salesforce. Influitive is less appropriate if advocacy is not the primary objective of your program.
Support has been difficult to work with lately. They are fast when it comes to resolving quick fix issues such as merging accounts or repairing small bugs within challenges, but for larger developer-needed issues, it seems that the ticket goes into a black hole. It makes things difficult for our customers who log into the platform every day and deserve a seamless experience.
Influitive's software is very user friendly. It's easy to learn and manage. Plus, our customers enjoy interacting with the Influitive hub platform because they like the challenges and find it fun to engage with.

Influitive is used in my organization as a way for customers to engage with one another. It is also a way for the customers to stay in the know of all things related to the products and company.
  • Customer Support-it doesn't matter how urgent the request is, support is always there to help ease my mind with a couple of different ways to solve the issue.
  • CSM-I have worked with multiple CSMs and they have all been very helpful and patient. They listen to my questions and requests and help me strategize ways to increase engagement in the community.
  • Templated Challenges- I have relied on this feature to help with fun challenges for the advocates. Though I do wish there were some more new ones. I have noticed that most of them are the same as of 3 yrs ago.
  • Challenge Digest- I would really like to have the digest have a little more functionality. Such as being able to move around the challenges, maybe move them to the top rather than the bottom.
  • The challenge image/the channel image- This is a feature I would really like to have more user-friendly, especially the crop feature. This feature is not very easy to use, so I have to go to another platform to re-size it. It would be so much easier if I could do this all within Influitive.
  • Sign In Page Profile Fields- I would like to be able to easily rearrange the fields rather than needing to reach out to support so that they can update on their end. While I appreciate that they can do this, it would be easier and faster if I could have the ability to do it myself.
  • Support-is AMAZING! But it would be great if they were more ways that an admin could be able to tweak certain pages rather than waiting till the engineering has time to update. I work on a tight timeline and it's hard to go back to the stakeholders and inform them that what they want can't be handled right away. Again I completely understand that other companies also have urgent requests, but if the admin had more capabilities then we wouldn't have to go to support as much.
Influitive continues to be a helpful resource for customers. However, something that I have been trying to come up with a solution for is a way to know when a customer leaves or becomes a prospect. Our community is solely for customers and right now I have done a data cleanse and found many prospects. Not sure how they were able to get in, and I don't want to delete them. Therefore, it would be great to have a feature that could filter the prospects out.
As mentioned in a previous question, support is literally always there! They are quick to respond to any question or questions I have.

We use Influitive to manage our day-to-day online community of just shy of 100k users. This helps us to provide daily connection and interaction experiences, as well as to act as a hub for discussions, updates, and resources. We have client-specific as well as organization-wide categories and rely on gamification techniques such as badges, levels, point structures, and store rewards to increase excitement and improve engagement.

Influitive is well suited to support online communities of all sizes. Whether internal or external facing, Influitive is a great tool for training and development, engagement and retention, and more. Influitive may be the best fit for larger audiences vs. smaller ones, as this is geared to promoting and growing communities.
Influitive support is helpful and timely. From custom content requests and day-to-day questions to full community outages, they have been on the ball and able to get the job done efficiently. There have only been a couple of instances where thorough follow-up and escalation where required. It could help to have a bit clearer communication for emergency protocols.

We are using the Influitive platform to build a strong customer community that supports our health and retention and brand initiatives. We provide customers with unique content and experiences and opportunities to connect and learn directly from their peers. We also provide opportunities for customers to share their expertise and insights with their industry peers.

We selected Influtive to mature and centralize our client community and advocacy initiatives. We needed a better way to regularly engage with customers beyond email and connect our product team with our users. Influitive helps us communicate important things like product updates while also strengthening relationships by helping us showcase the human side of our brand and giving clients a direct line to employees behind the frontline.

Based on our experience, internal buy-in before implementing this solution is really key. Influitive is most successful when there is shared ownership among marketing, product, client success, and support. Marketing led the purchase decision at our organization and because of that, other teams were slower to adopt Influitive into their standard operating procedures. We have other teams on board now but in hindsight, I wish we would have slowed down and brought other teams along with us during both the platform selection and implementation process. It would have accelerated our success.
Influitive support is very responsive and helpful. Clear answers and willing to pass feature requests along as needed.

Influitive provides us a place and space to nurture and interact with our brand fans. Its high targeting capabilities allow us to address the different audiences by localizing the right content and exclusive opportunities to our members, based on their languages, countries they're based on, rate of engagement, etc at the same time we can have a global 'open' space for all our members to interact amongst themselves.

Their customer support has a fast-answer rate, and is very supportive. However, we experienced the same issues several times, which made it a bit more annoying.

The Influitive platform is very easy to get into and get going when building a client advocacy program. It has many built-in features that make the startup very easy with a not-too-steep learning curve. Influitive provides a lot of examples and directions on how to utilize their platform. It is also flexible enough to be able to customize it in many different ways, to provide a very different experience for members depending on your goals. It can be very "transactional" with challenges and points, very "conversational" with forums and discussions, and anywhere in between. The hardest parts of using Influitive are probably thinking ahead at the beginning before diving in to create your experience - something that is made even harder by the fact that the tools are so tempting to play with - and the long-term management and maintenance. A good customer experience is going to require ongoing care and tending. Influitive provides a lot of tooling around that to help - automatic reminders to members to come and revisit (customizable), reporting to identify trends in behavior, future publication scheduling tooling and reporting, etc. However, it still takes someone sitting in the pilot's chair, or perhaps more than one person sharing responsibilities.
I have never had an issue, small or large, that the Influitive support team hasn't taken seriously and given their attention to. Engagement with support is generally quick and painless. There is also a great user community that is monitored to some degree, and general questions are often already available there or answered in short order.
Setting up and running Influitive is great, and they make it easier all the time. However, it does require someone with creative vision and dedication to keep the environment up and running and moving forward.
