After an exhaustive search, I was excited to choose Growave for my biz rewards & loyalty program, the Smile High Club™. The app is very customizeable so has checked off every requirement as far as our branding style guide goes. The greatest thing about Growave is its people. The scenario where Open Loyalty is better suited is with a customer that has one and only one e-commerce site or equivalent. Many customers think it would be easy to customize Open Loyalty for multiple companies, using only one installation. This is difficult to Open Loyalty since different companies will have different rules, levels of rewards, etc, and that's not easily configured on Open Loyalty. So, the price of OpenLoyalty for third-world countries is a little steep, making its acquisition possible only to large companies.

  • They are also cost effective meaning we are able to progress with development of our site without the high cost some other agencies charge.

  • Has a lot of experience in the loyalty realm, so every nuance and the special case is already thought of
  • Allows for the implementation of loyalty programs for a number of scenarios: for consumers, employees, students, etc
  • Has a well-proven solution for any POS solution out there!

  • Consider making some of the Enterprise only features available to Growth. Specifically, ability to offer products in exchange for points! I would like to give my best customer the opportunity to earn really cool corporate swag. For example, Collect 100 S'Miles (points) in exchange to WhiteBrights leather book bag. Also, Klaviyo integration. That should not be an Enterprise level feature?

  • Many customers expect Open Loyalty to have an e-commerce interface. Maybe they could build a barebones interface to satisfy the rare customer that still doesn't have a CRM o ERP or equivalent in place

Our initial contract with Wildfire Whitelabel was for $30,000/year, as we progressed we found several alternatives for significantly less. We used this to our advantage to lower the second year to $17,000 with the limitation in the level of support (they call this their "core" subscription). Support has been quite bad.

During our contract, we also asked for quotes on some custom work, but never managed to get an answer (or actual quote). Now two years into our contract, the limitations and lack of development are enough for us to find a different solution. Newcomers to the market like Rafflecopter, WooBox and PunchTab are delivering much better results for a fraction of the price

They are super attentive and will work with you to make sure that Growave is properly integrated on your site. I had a few conversations with them. They always had prompt replies and they helped to create some custom solutions so that their modules matched the style of our website. It was overall a really great experience working with them.

Yotpo seems to have more ways to integrate your reviews with other features on your site, but Growave is a simple solution for people who aren't actively focusing their attention on reviews. Yotpo also seems to have better filters for negative keywords and swear words (important for children's toy company). However, Yotpo carries a much higher price tag.

Open Loyalty is way more powerful than Tango Card. Zoho CRM doesn't really stack up against OL, since it's too generic. The area where we think Open Loyalty would beat other products is scalability and customization. Open Loyalty has been tried on really large customers and the database never felt sluggish nor the web interface or the web services.
