Much better customer service, better organized in terms of objects and reporting is leagues ahead of MINDBODY. Note that my usage of MINDBODY was in a fitness setting, which is not applicable here as we use it in a SAAS business.

HubSpot CRM is becoming the superior choice in similar platforms. If I were to change jobs tomorrow, and had the ability to choose which CRM the company was using, I would choose HubSpot CRM every time.

Mindbody excels in areas that rely on the "bread and butter" of its design: scheduling, member management, and payment processing. Overall as a fitness center management solution, Mindbody is by far the best product we have used and they have evolved their capabilities in good alignment with our needs as well.

  • Personalized email campaigns: It helps to create highly effective personalized emails with its wonderful content tokens.
  • Scheduling of meetings: It eliminates the bottlenecks in the process of meeting schedule with its amazing integrating capabilities with other calendar tools like Google calendar. It also ensures the automatic reminders of meetings to the participants of meeting.
  • Automation for follow-up : With its feature called "sequences", follow-up emails made easy.

  • Mindbody does a great job of sending out reminder emails to clients so they do not miss a class.
  • Mindbody does a great job at giving instructors a fast and easy way to check in clients and to see who is all signed up for their classes for the week.
  • Mindbody has a great payroll feature. All you have to do is set the dates and it generates a nicely laid out PDF of all the classes you taught during that time period and what you have made from them.

  • A lot of my companies have one URL for a ton of branches and each branch has their own name and location so I have to manually enter all the information because they all have the same URL so I can't easily use an Excel file to import those contacts so a faster solution to this would be appreciated
  • Making Corporate and branch associations is very tedious, it would be nice if the companies that all share the same url would automatically associate with the corporate company so I didn't have to manually do it
  • I would like to not see all the extra feature tabs in my layout because I am not using them so it would be nice to be able to turn them off (even the ones that are in my plan that I don't use, it would be nice to turn them off)

  • There is so much functionality and not enough accountability. I wish there were more tracking of all transactions done on the clients or operations end to be able to review history and learn from mistakes.
  • The Mindbody branded app connection needs more attention.
  • Please add a covid vaccination checker to the application (not just to use in the web browser). It has taken way too long to get this feature.

To be honest there are some barriers due to which we are unable to use Hubspot at it's full potentials. The region that we work in has some restrictions that don't allow us to make calls or text which leaves us to just Email to the client.

It's incredibly easy to use, pretty intuitive even to those who are not as technically savvy. For all the basics, most people can figure it out. I think the piece that can get tricky is how things are defined and how to correctly label opportunities at certain stages of the pipeline without getting confused or accidentally duplicating work that's already been done.

Settings are often buried, user interface rules vary depending on whether it's a newer feature or an older one. From daily usage, people learn how it works and get used to it, but it's not something someone could just pick up without any training or hand-holding.

Because when I needed help HubSpot responded immediately and provided me with the information I needed which enabled me to realize that HubSpot was even more customizable and easier to use than I thought! And I already thought HubSpot was very user friendly and easy to use, and then Support showed me how to manipulate the settings, columns and the appearance of the tool.

Mindbody support takes forever to get back to you via email in my experience. The process is not as simple as it was back when they had the chat feature. I really wish they would bring that back! Most items are normally some weird glitch that they can fix in minutes but you have to wait days now.

This answer may be a little more concise, as it's simpler! Although functionality is fairly similar, Management brought the Sales team into the boardroom and took us through a high-level guided tour of both Pipedrive & HubSpot CRM. It essentially boiled down to which interface do you prefer/which can you see yourselves using quicker/easier/faster? End result: HubSpot CRM based on unanimous decision!

Mindbody is really the only system of its kind that is widely used by fitness and yoga studios. Its app is the industry standard for looking up and signing up for classes, so most students rely on it exclusively. If there were another viable alternative it would have to promise more ease of use and intuitive backend.

  • Email Campaigns about new products and having CTA links for people to click which turn into purchase orders.

  • I've had agents help me set something up that ended up costing time and money because it was done wrong. [In my experience], less senior agents need to stop guessing or going with "I think so" and talk to a senior agent to make sure what they are telling the client is correct.
