iContact Pro Select vs. Meta Business Manager

If you use PRWeb already and are looking for a tool that integrates well with that program and offers additional functionality with email and social media then Vocus is great. If you don't use PRWeb or prefer an email tool with more functionality and ease of use, Vocus is not the best choice.

Meta Business Manger is well suited for large/medium and small organisations with single or multiple stake holders and products. It works very efficiently. Cases where app events are defined for android and iOS, it work wonders for campaign measurement and campaign level targeting. Meta Business Manager is very appropriate for running financial, educational, real estate, e-commerce related ads. Meta Business Manager is not appropriate if you have are into enterprise sales.

• Social Media Listening e.g.: Recommendations, Identify influencers for a selected topic, based on actual influence, or number of reposts and/or references, rather than the number of followers.
• Campaign Management - Landing Page and Web Form Templates
• Email Marketing -Delivery Tracking and Spam Analysis

• Helps drive more efficient CPCs and CPMs than other social channels
• Targets users outside of working hours
• Helps grow Retargeting pools to use on other channels
• Meta Business Manager's AI does a great job in identifying our ICP based off intent signals

• Vocus can do a better job communicating with us. The representative made promises to us that I have not seen be fulfilled such as getting us national media hits through connections that he had.

• You have to look in multiple places for a full range of analytics
• The way it handles ad spend can be unpredictable, so if you're on a budget, you have to make sure you're really watching your ad spend
• For as much as Meta Business Manager pushes stories, reels, etc., the editing tools for this kind of content are limited or nonexistent.

Now that we have had the opportunity to try an enterprise wide marketing solution, I think we should look at other tools and programs that have greater flexibility and ease of use. If the tool does not happen to have PR Web then so be it. We may not see the cost savings with PR announcements but if the other tools have increased email functionality then we can part with more money on the PR side like we have in the past

The UI is easy and intuitive for any beginner, but it also has a lot of depth for more advanced users. There have been very few cases where I could not do something I wanted to do regarding media buying. However, there are big limitations regarding account management, admin settings, and user appeals.

Facebook is notoriously difficult to access for help and FBM is no exception. Only the chat feature will get someone in touch with you and then there is very limited help. The most they do is send links from their 'help section' without really offering much help at all. Business owners and directors need a person on the phone that can understand the problem and help fix it, not 'helpful links that have already been tried.

I've used MailChimp before to generate emails and found Vocus to be a better option because it is an overall suite providing the tools to create customizable emails as well as many other features including press releases, social media etc. Vocus is an all-in-one platform for marketing which makes things more efficient for the user by being able to handle all marketing through one outlet.

Facebook is a well-known platform that has to be utilized. It allows us to reach so many new customers and potential patients for our clients. As well as allows us to interact with them consistently and keep them informed or advertise to a new niche of people. The best part about Facebook Business Manager is its usability and reach!

• Much more targeted email marketing. Spam analysis helped improve our overall email performance.
• Increased customer engagement through social media listening.
• Scheduled emails increased email open and click-through rates by 120%!

• Pro: It gives me a central place to manage my Page.
• Pro: There are a lot of options to take advantage of, like Ads, available, which I hope to use more in the future.
• Pro: The pixel has allowed me to connect Facebook data with my website, and has been a good referral source.
• Con: There is so much I don't use because it is so complicated. I know I could get more use of it, but it's not going to happen anytime soon, and probably without help.
