UiPath's agentic platform combines the company's Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution for automating repetitive tasks with agentic automation. By unifying agentic AI, automation, BPM, and process intelligence, the platform gives organizations control to design, run, and optimize new agentic processes.
It easily tailor to the use case we had that is to effectively automate email communication, while it had other options that allows us to integrate more use cases in future. While the other options did allow us to manage but the results were ineffective and there was no scope …
UiPath is a more visually appealing, middle of the range, free alternative to Blue Prism. It's, in my opinion, easier to pick up, obviously due to a person being able to download it for free and try it out, and also because of it's excellent online academy. However, Blue Prism …
I use all the three tools and I felt the blue prism is best suitable for back end automation and performing the tasks robust and in a proper manner. It has all the features involved and all the purchased licenses are same with the features available to all the users and making …
UiPath is a good tool but open source so has a bit of limitation (but not much). We'd rate both the products at par almost but Blue Prism is more popular and famous as of now so our team took that into consideration before making the final decision about the purchase.
Estágio de desenvovimento RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
Chose SS&C Blue Prism
We chose BluePrism for the well-defined hierarchy. The values of the company were in agreement with ours. The negotiation was good, and we were convinced that the tool would meet our demands satisfactorily.
Blue Prism RPA tool is best for any kind of user. You need not be a hardcore programmer to work on automation through Blue Prism. The core architecture is very simple and it is easy to build and maintain the infrastructure required for Blue Prism. Blue prism portal is very well …
We implemented Blue Prism RPA for a highly complex process which required a complex set up. Since then, it has been working excellently with high accuracy.
In our company, we are using many RPA tools. For most of our medium projects we are using Blue Prism, as other tools are frequently crashing. One of the best features is that the robots can be unattended. Blue Prism has a high rate of reliability when compared to other tools, …
It’s more robust for enterprise usage; UIPath had an awful demo when we talked to them. Automation Anywhere focuses on desktop automation with its recorder capabilities. Work Fusion focuses on intelligent use cases as opposed to automating the commonly used manual processes. …
The other RPA tool which I used is Blue Prism, however comparatively Uipath is quiet user friendly and easy to learn and use. We can not use BP processes on Citrix/Virtual machines. Also Uipath has strong user community. Uipath also provides free trial community and enterprise …
My primary use case is to automate the process of RPO. Most of the processes we are doing here are repetitive processes like communicating with the candidate, sourcing the candidate, fixing the interview date, level one of the interview process, etc. We use UiPath Enterprise …
Had a pre-existing relationship with UiPath so they were the obvious 1st choice Reviews on internal/ operational efficiencies also were greater in the case of UiPath AI/ ML, NLP were the final reasons why we went ahead with UiPath
UiPath has a flow-diagram-based code editor, which makes it easier for a developer to debug the code. The Drag and Drop Feature of UiPath helps in reducing dependency to memorize the code syntax. Citrix Automation Capabilities in UiPath is much better compared to other tools …
Uipath is better at PDF reading and string manipulation over Blue Prism. However, debugging of codes and implementation is easier in Blue Prism. Both have the same academy to study the tool. But UiPath offers a wide variety of search results when you need help. UiPath is also …
UiPath supports low code/ No code that is useful in easily making process automation. UiPath robots are also quite more robust and reliable in terms of performance and provide better output in less time as compared to others. Not only this, UiPath has a widespread community …
I chose to use Uipath Enterprise RPA Paltform primarily because it is the current market leader in the RPA field. I also like UiPath because of the level of development speed, flexibility and scalability it provides that is unrivalled by other RPA tools, which are only now …
Recording feature is one of the reasons for choosing UiPath over Blue Prism for some of the POC's created for few clients use cases. Cost could be another reason. Because the licensing cost is much less than other vendors. Development can be completed by community edition in …
UiPath is very easy to learn and use for beginners in RPA, while other tools require training on how to work in a particular application using the tools. UiPath is good for self-teaching and materials are easily available over the internet with use cases wherein a few can be …
It's the best of all of them, period. It's nice to keep the competition going but UiPath is just a clear leader when it comes to all the major important fields in the RPA industry. Automation Anywhere is doing the best job out of the other tools and they are on the right track, …
UiPath's community version and diverse community forum comes to mind as big differentiators. The community version right off the bat gives you all the functionalities of the licensed version (even Orchestrator) and allows you to quickly do experiments and even production-level …
UiPath Academy helped us learn the tool quickly and easily, and it has very good community forums. The community version helped us explore the new activities and functionality easily. Managing the bots in Orchestrator is simple and Explorer helped to get the customized …
When I arrived at my organization, they had already chosen UiPath. However, I researched other platforms and these two were the ones that got the most knowledge. Automation Anywere strikes me as close to UiPath, yet UiPath strikes me as the most intuitive and easy to use.
I selected UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform over Blue Prism because it is much simpler to use. The drag and drop system as seen in the UiPath Studio is a very intuitive and fast way to develop processes. Developing with Blue Prism involves going into more levels of detail and its …
UiPath is a young platform and for this reason contains all the new technologies born in recent years. Blue Prism platform is older than UiPath and this is "felt" when trying to develop a flow using both products. Training a new resource to use UiPath is easier than training it …
It is highly cost-effective and provides multiple options in terms of licensing options. The customer support and support representatives are quick to support us with any technical issues that we face during project implementations.
UiPath compared to its competitors such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, OpenSpan PEGASystems, NICE Systems and the usual VB.Net automation, can handle complex processes with a workflow that is easy to understand with a pricing that is just right. And training does not cost …
We recommend it because of its ease of use. It has the best capturing of UI Elements, you need less coding knowledge but still need the ability to understand the flow using process model. These are key contributors when deciding upon an RPA tool.
Softomotive is very easy to use and learn, actually one are of the company had already developed a number of automation using them. The problem is lack of scalability, meaning thinking about future grow, it's not clear how they can handle / manage hundreds of robots. Blue Prism …
The major advantage of UiPath is cost efficiency over Blue Prism. Blue Prism is very expensive for use and training material is also not easily available. UiPath has free training and certifications on its own website. UiPath is also far more effective when it comes to ROI. It …
Oracle BPM is well suited to organizations and environments that have a good understanding of their business processes and organizational structures. Trying to introduce a tool such as Oracle BPM into the organization without a good grasp on how the business operates is a recipe for disaster as the implementation will uncover all of the dirty secrets of an organizations business processes and bring them to light. BPM is not to be utilized for smaller service orchestrations or technical service implementations, these should be handled by the Oracle SOA Suite using the BPEL process manager, leaving BPM to handle the organizational business processes, referring to and including lower level services and BPEL processes as needed.
Blue Prism Cloud is an ideal cloud automation solution for organizations with a significant number of remote workers or geographically disparate teams since its accessible from any web browser. It is also beneficial for organizations that need to quickly outsource part of their process automation without having to purchase additional software licenses and equipment.
However, Blue Prism Cloud is less suited for companies that have large volume data processing needs as its base cost may quickly become prohibitive in those situations. Additionally, this solution may not be suitable for organizations that need more complex solution-specific configurations since its integration options are limited.
UiPath Automation Platform is well-suited for automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks such as invoice processing, data entry, and report generation. By using UiPath Automation Platform, employees can focus on more strategic tasks, which leads to increased efficiency. Additionally, UiPath Automation Platform is highly effective at automating rule-based processes, such as financial processes like bank statement reconciliation, account payable, and account receivable processes that follow a set of predetermined rules.
Any type of application can be automated (Desktop Application, Web Application and also applications reachable only via remote technologies such as Citrix, Remote Desktop and so on).
The writing of a process code takes place entirely through the use of objects. In the event that there were no objects capable of solving a particular problem, it is possible to use some languages of the .net platform such as: VB.net, C#.
It is easy to scale the solution by adding more robots to run a process in case the solution requires more performance in the future.
It can also be used by functional analysts to design the flow to be automated.
An academy is available online where basic and advanced courses can be taken. It is also possible to take a completely free basic certification.
Oracle BPM is left behind by other tools more modern in terms of user experience, usability and ability to integrate with everything else.
To really harvest the potential of Oracle BPM you need to do it in JDeveloper and with ADF. This restricts its usage to very technical people.
The administration of the Oracle BPM tools has really put a burden on our team. It is running on Weblogic and we experience issues very often either with performance or with a bad configuration of the system.
As with all Oracle products, the price can be an issue for smaller shops.
As I mentioned, Excel automation is not very effective, there are a number of packages to add, but there is nothing as smooth as a good macro.
Working with selectors is certainly challenging and UiPath does a good job with that, but there is room for improvement since the interface could be smarter in selecting the right attributes and warn the user if something is not properly setup.
This platform has so much potential and have been garnering a lot of attention by proving benefits in terms of saving operational and manpower costs. I am sure with minute efforts we were able to achieve our ROI and the same is the case with many of our customers whom we have been working around Digital Automation initiatives.
Usability wise the Blue Prism tool can be utilized to its 100% which include the control room, schedulers, work queues, Release managers, studio for process and object development, we use all the features in blue prism and is well suitable for the development and deployment, All the system are wisely controlled and connected the same SQL database and all the data can be accessed with ease and all the things can achieve in the systematic order.
There are two main reasons with this rating 1. UiPath Automation Platform requires the old school type of Change Weather management, Which actually eats a lot of time to manage and roll out the recent changes. There is not something kind of CI/CD when you are developing the things With UiPath Automation Platform. 2. Very high development and maintenance cost, which actually decrease its usability.
Support is good and now with time online support in other forums is becoming available as well. Blue Prism support in itself is also good. Documents and blogs can help to find the solution. Since it's relatively new, sometimes if I'm stuck it can take time to find the solution or connect to their team.
UiPath RPA has an exceptional studio interface. It has been a year and so since I am using UiPath RPA. Whether it is some my personal task to scrape information & links from the Journal or find a specific character string from multiple PDF collection using OCR, UiPath RPA has made its roots to our technological ecosystem
Video material supported by text. The training has evolved a lot in the past 3 years to become more attractive. Specific training tracks exist for the different roles in RPA development, where everyone is expected to learn basic development.
We evaluated Bonita and found that it might fit a smaller-sized company better; we found that Oracle BPM Suite scaled much more evenly. We almost went with one of the competitors, but in the end chose Oracle BPM Suite after we factored in the cost of VMware licensing. There are literally tons of analytics on the back end which are great for upper management, but not so much for average users, but this fits our business model quite well.
Better User Interface.Better customer service.Easier to learn and use. But has greater risk compliances. Less preloaded automation. Less editing features and a big no while working on big projects. Fluidmesh is better in pricing and better management of multiple projects but I believe Blue Prism is perfect for beginners and small-scale companies.
As compared to other products, we require programming knowledge and concepts to work but UiPath is for everyone. It provides us extensive event logging at various stages and effective exception handling for applications and business. It increases our agility and enhances the overall productivity further by using the source control SVC. The solution that we implemented is also very scalable in terms of incorporating new requirements.
The open source tools require lots of IT effort in order to set up and maintain over time. UiPath is like a complete package and customer service is also active in terms of solving issues arising while automating procession on a day to day basis.
You'll most certainly need a deep dive and extensive training before your users can even think of using the product and they are very expensive.
Lack of documentation makes it very difficult to manage the application if any error is encountered which will result in you ending up hiring a dedicated person to look into the application once it's deployed.
For a very large org., if properly implemented and used, it can help identify the cost-intensive and inefficient processes.
For a level of medium projects, Blue Prism performs well, and the speed of execution is good. In our organization, we are applying for medium projects, where we can increase the workforce of our employees.
Blue Prism's Client Server Architecture is good, because we need such a feature to implement automation.
When it comes to pricing, I personally feel that it is costlier.
