I think PandaDoc is suitable for companies that sell digital services and need to create documents that do not an only quote but also include useful information for the prospect. PandaDoc is not suitable for selling services with a high level of customization where each quote requires researching the prospect's needs thoroughly.

    Qwilr

It is great for presentations to customers and keeping them engaged in your presentation. Although it is great for creating a highly customizable presentation, some users may want even more control over font, font size and font color. Some of my colleagues have expressed some dissatisfaction with the formatting as well as saving any formatting changes that have made.

    Pros

    PandaDoc

    • Complete or modified access to the platform which reduces contract errors.
    • Incentivize accuracy and empowers team members to help during spikes.
    • Overcome obstacles by valid modification of contract.
    • Reduces number of stalled or failed deals and increases CSI
    • Provides accurate take of the tape for sales review post completion
    Jeff Keeney | TrustRadius Reviewer

    Qwilr

    • It has different and useful templates that can help you start creating amazing presentations
    • It is really intuitive to use
    • It can incorporate files from other companies like: Drive and YouTube in a really organic way.

    Cons

    PandaDoc

    • Analytics: some of the analytics are only available at the document level, i.e., which page someone looked at. I wish it was easier to see analytics on page views across documents
    • User experience: not fully intuitive - as someone who has trained many people to use, it does require some initial learning curve
    • Formatting: some of the numbering and lettering, especially subclauses in contracts, can be tricky or nonexistent
    Aviva Rosman | TrustRadius Reviewer

    Qwilr

    • Quick support
    • Wish it was easier to turn the links on and off.
    • Some of their custom block styles could be easier to edit.

The reason I gave it a rating of 7 is because it's probable, but not for sure. This is because there are a few little things we don't love about pandadoc. Mostly that there is not conditional logic such as: they must either fill this field out OR this one. Also it's a little pricey. But we'll probably stay because it's good enough and a pain to switch to something new

Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy to use. There can be a slightly steep learning curve to get fully in on the system. The new editor v2 has really improved usability and allows us to collaborate on documents simultaneously.Once the templates and library items are set up, a new document, whether it be a sales or HR document, takes very little time to complete.

The documents load quickly for the most part but sometimes if there are larger documents with a high number of variables it could take a bit longer to get the document to show up. Most of the time the document comes on the screen relatively quickly allowing for quick access to documents to be edited and sent out.

Recently I could not upload a pdf to a contract - support was very responsive and easy to work with. They got back to me the next day with an apparent fix - however when I opened the document nothing had changed. I then could not respond to the rep who was helping me because it was a "no-reply address", the problem still has not been solved and we had to make alternate arrangements to get this to the client. Never had it happen before and was only with this one contract.

    Alternatives Considered

    PandaDoc

DocuSign and SignNow have a feature that allows you to create a signing link that you can send in an email or post on a website (like an intranet). When there are roles set up within a document, PandaDoc only allows you to complete the information from the interface and enter recipients/assign roles with you as the sender. SignNow has all of the same features as PandaDoc but looks less pretty and isn't mobile-friendly. DocuSign has a more intuitive interface and all of the same features as PandaDoc, making it a more valuable tool for our HR needs.

    Qwilr

Qwilr was a really quick and easy setup, which I think is great for smaller teams that have simple sales processes and cycles. Once more complication is it will fall short in providing the level of control and detail that is needed for a larger sales team. The end product is very elegant but comes down to the needs of the organization.
