oh I dont know where to start... OpenPhone notifications are shown less than 50% of the time, Vonage looks so minimalistics that you feel you dont have what you need. maybe the agents will be fine but not from a management perspective. Fuze I used for very little and I dont …

If you have more than 2 people in your organization, then this will save you so much time. Delegation is the key to starting a business. Even when you're a 1 person show, being able to present to your user base the differentiation of options for client communications is critical. As a founder, feeling compelled to be always on is something I strive not to be. OpenPhone gives you that flexibility. I have found it to be less appropriate in complex HIPPA compliant areas, but that is it. OpenPhone really does seem to suit an open array of use cases.

RingCentral Contact Center is extremely useful for tracking employee availability and working hours, particularly for remote employees. It is also helpful to be able to share certain skills between various employees so that customers dialing in have the best chance to get in touch with the correct contact immediately. RingCentral Contact Center is not ideal for lots of outbound outreach, particularly due to the phone number not coming in with the user's extension (and in our case, the number is an 800 number and looks more like spam), but for incoming calls it is very useful. The difference between a cold transfer and trying to conference someone on before you transfer is not always clear. Many people in the company often make mistakes, such as not being able to conference on the contact before transferring or accidentally hanging up on the conference, also affecting the others on the line.

Reliability: Our previous service was prone to outages, RingCentral Contact Center has been rock solid as long as we've used it.
Integration: Our IT team was able to build a custom RingCentral Contact Center dashboard on our website for our salespeople to manage inbound/ outbound calling. From there we were able to send call data directly into activities in our ERP (Acumatica).
Ease of use: It works well whether in the office or WFH (which many employees do regularly.

If we haven't used the contact center for support is because the service is so good that make us not need to use it very often. However, I guess our IT team has found some useful features on it for system implementation, automation, and updates that have helped them to keep providing us with the right support as needed.

In my experience, App features are buggy and confusing, and they often don't match the descriptions and screenshots in their documentation. In fact, many of their help links go to 404 "page not found" errors. In my experience, there are frequent outages and quality issues. My customers prefer to talk to me on a different line, because they find it difficult to understand me on OpenPhone.
It's a really intuitive platform. All the buttons and sections are almost exactly where you would expect them to be. Navigating the platform is fairly easy, even for folks who have not used it before. I can usually just tell my colleagues to "go to the settings tab and you'll see the audio settings" and they are able to take it from there.

In my experience, their support feels like the opposite of support. They send you in circles, never directly answer questions, provide vague suggestions with unwanted platitudes, and they often take days between responses to provide that. For me, it's a frustrating experience that leaves you with a net loss of time and energy versus before you reached out to them. In my opinion, you definitely don't get "support".

It was really straightforward to get our phone number ported over and start using the platform. The agent walked us through the steps and we were able to configure everything ourselves. Much easier to setup than some of the other platforms

OpenPhone has an easier user interface than Grasshopper. Years ago when I was using Grasshopper, I recall that their user interface looked antiquated and full of complications. They would also update the interface just as everyone was getting used to using it. OpenPhone has many more functions. Grasshopper's app did not offer basic functions such as in-app texting between team members, and its call transfer function was incredibly complicated to use. In my opinion, Grasshopper was an inferior service/product in almost every way.

In my experience, Billing lacks transparency, and they have made billing errors (overcharging me) since I started using them. I think the "trust registration" is an insane ripoff charging around $20 for every attempt. Crazy.

With RingCentral Contact Center we were able to connect with our customers. The feature that allows the call to be sent to the first available rep ensured that this happened.
Also, my favorite feature is the call recording and transcription feature. This allowed me to get the customer's emails without asking them to repeat if I missed them the first time. Hence, happier customers and more meetings.
RingCentral Contact Center also made it very easy to set up a mailbox for customers to leave messages and reassure them that they've connected with the right person.
