RocketReach vs. UpLead

RocketReach is very helpfull in cases where I only have the website or LinkedIn Page of the company I want to reach out to, but no contact information. RocketReach helps do some digging and get in touch with the target business. It does not provide any financial insight on the entity, a lot of companies do not have info of important C-Suit, but just general employees.

UpLead is well suited for environments where there is a lot of accurate contact information to research mainly generating sales for a business. On the other hand, businesses that don't require searching up a huge amount of contact data and that doesn't add up to the sales of a business do not need to use this software.

• More data on small and start-up companies, but this situation is understandable.
• Collecting a long list of contacts, especially of overseas companies, can sometimes take a while as UpLead is verifying the data. But the wait is typically understandable and worth it.
• Sometimes I struggle with translating job functions in a foreign language, but this is easy to overcome.

The extension is perfect for finding the info about the company whose website I have open in my laptop, but in some cases it is hard to get rid of the icon. It is located specifically in a place where the majority of websites put action button. So, I can't press this button sometimes because of the RR icon on top.

The tool is robust, it's powerful, it's accurate, and it's extremely helpful and pivotal in my current banking sales role. I could not succeed without UpLead's accurate data and contact information. RocketReach works well on its own, but also as part of a suite of tools that we use for lead validation, qualification, and research efforts. We've selected RocketReach due to it's ability to provide key information in our data enrichment process that some other platforms are not able to provide.

UpLead costs a bit more, but I found the data on UpLead to be well worth it in comparison and it was easier to transfer to our CRM (HubSpot). I like how they also provide useful API integration into UpLead and I hope they begin to offer more automation in the future.

• I haven't been using UpLead long but I have generated interest in our company with several large accounts. Each one of them can add several million in revenue to our company.
• A huge time saver is to be able to send out email blasts to potential clients I've downloaded from UpLead.
