Chose Google Chrome
i am still using those software as well but i use Google Chrome more because it supports a huge extension pool that makes day-to-day life convenient for me. I use lots of analytics extensions for tracking activity and performance of the day, others lag here, so I prefer Chrome.
Chose Google Chrome
I think they need to work on color pallet and ai mode very well because world is changing too fast for the things people want. People don't want to write full request he need accurate response with half request.
Chose Google Chrome
I have used all these and i would recommend Chrome based on overall feasibility and keeping in mind the user friendly interface. which increase adaptability for new employees and customers and have them easily run the system and web based tools seamlessly. Most common features …
Chose Google Chrome
Google Chrome is the most widely used, user-friendly (especially in overall navigation), visually appealing, and easy to initially set up (unlike Edge, or even the 'blankness' that Safari often provides). It is simple for the less tech savvy, and its huge array of downloadable …
Chose Google Chrome
Because the SaaS integrations on Google Chrome are top notch. A lot of SaaS applications are first tested on Google Chrome and are almost always advised by the developers to use it in Google Chrome if another browser doesn't work well.Because Google Chrome is not bound to an OS …
Chose Google Chrome
Google Chrome is much better designed than Microsoft Edge-- it is faster, smarter, more intuitive, and less burdened with bloatware. Google Chrome is considerably easier to use than Opera, which is not intuitive and has many difficult rabbit holes to fall down. Google Chrome is …
Chose Google Chrome
Haven't really spent much time with Edge, as I always change to Chrome as soon as possible, so it's difficult to compare.
Chose Google Chrome
I repeat again: It is a worldwide standard. It matches both the Platforms - Windows and iOS. Pages load quickly, and the website's presentation is impeccable. It needs to seamlessly integrate Google Gemini into Google Chrome. Overall, I will give 10/10 to the designer of Google …
Chose Google Chrome
Only Firefox comes close. Google Chrome is leaps and bounds above anything Microsoft has ever done in the browser space. Microsoft has lagged behind with Edge for years and continues to supply a subpar browsing experience. Google Chrome has the speed and the features to make it …
Chose Google Chrome
I prefer safari for personal use. I don’t like to mix work with personal bookmarks, etc.
Chose Google Chrome
Google Chrome is a platform that Microsoft has been trying to catch up to for years. Despite Microsoft having the initial vision of everyone being connected and having a PC many years ago, Google Chrome has truly helped to solidify that vision into reality. They have also made …
Chose Google Chrome
I'd say Google Chrome and Safari are my favorite browsers. I mainly selected Google Chrome because it seamlessly saves all my information across different browsers (unlike Safari).
Chose Google Chrome
Firefox has a bulky and clunky design over Chrome. I didn't do a comparative test but it felt like Chrome was faster and I've never seen/ tested android compatibility from firefox.
Safari seems to want to control my browsing activity as opposed to allowing me to control my …
Chose Google Chrome
Firefox has a clunky update mechanism. Although Firefox was pretty quick, I did not care for the look of it. Opera was not as compatible nor as fast as Google Chrome. Tor is slow but is used only for private browsing as needed.
Shift
Chose Shift
They basically do the same thing but Rambox offered a life time deal
Chose Shift
I have considered using Rambox as the pricing model is more appealing. I do consider Shift to be quite expensive.
Chose Shift
I haven’t used others. I have used shift for 6 years.
Chose Shift
N/A, not aware of similar products.
Chose Shift
More general but also not as integrated and requires me to jump through some mime hoops to get a meeting going vs Teams opening it seamlessly.
Chose Shift
Shift is the only solution for bespoke, durable workspaces that include email, apps, browsing, etc.
Chose Shift
Shift is the only one that answered all of our problems without requiring us to download an entirely different app for another service. Having everything in one place is invaluable!
Chose Shift
I came from using a similar app called MailPlane, some of you older users might remember this app. It had a similar function to connect Gmail accounts so that I could use Gmail like a regular app. This app reached end of life and the developers no longer decided to keep the app …
Chose Shift
I like that Shift keeps accounts more organized than browser tabs.
Chose Shift
Overall i find Shift just less cumbersome and more focused that other products out there. There's no feature glut, its focused and does what its supposed to do simply. I'm not trying to figure out what some features does.
Chose Shift
I used Station previously but felt it didn't have as many features as Shift.
I have looked around a lot though because Shift is quite expensive..
Chose Shift
I used to use a similar product called Station. In all honesty, Station was better but was discontinued. Shift is the nearest equivalent and works just as well. Station was free, Shift is an annual payment so I have peace of mind it's more likely to be around for the long term.
Chose Shift
While I have not looked into other apps, I have considered (and do use, to some extent), Google Profiles. In my opinion, Shift is much preferable to Google Profiles and works much better!
Chose Shift
Microsoft 365 is great in terms of the features of each program, but switching between the programs isn't quick. Shift allows me to manage my email accounts and my Google Drives, as well as create documents, spreadsheets, and slides using Google's tools all within the same …
Chose Shift
I found Shift first and never needed to look for any other tools. It met my needs and I don't want to have to get used to a different tool.
Chose Shift
I don't think I've ever used a tool like Shift. I have only used regular, individual browsers like Google or Safari. Shift is a much more organized way for me to work and I still use those other browsers but with only 1 or 2 tabs of what I'm working on instead of 25 with all …
Chose Shift
I also use Mailplane but it's not on the list. Shift just works and works really well. I dont like apps that try to be something that it's not, adding silly features just because. With Shift I load the app and I can see all the emails and other apps I need to get my work done.

It is easy to use, easy to move between devices, and great for browsing with incredible speeds as long as the internet connection can keep up. There is a feature called 'Resume Browsing' that is unhelpful, and I am not too sure about the data they keep on you.

Shift excels in any scenario that demands constant switching. Jumping between multiple email accounts is seamless, and moving from inbox to calendar to Slack to Asana feels fluid rather than fragmented—a real productivity win . That said, Shift is less ideal when your workflow involves heavy browser use. A large number of open tabs can get unwieldy and hard to navigate. The OneNote and Slack integrations also leave some room for improvement—they work, but not as smoothly as I'd hope.

Cons
  • Alerting when bookmark links are broken
  • Better themes; there's great groundwork, but horribly barren and lack of quality options
  • Better tracking/security transparency with its users
  • Alert when cache slowing down performance, and quick navigation to clear this for the less tech-savvy.
  • Allowing file name edits within the quick-access download dropdown, without having to have this fully on or off, or having to navigate outside of Google Chrome
  • Embedded suggestion for quick-access extensions on homepage (with option to remove suggestions easily), for ad-blocking, accessibility, etc.

  • The browser doesn't always work. Some websites refuse to load, and others time out too quickly. It is not as strong or robust a web browser as Chrome.
  • Unread counts are not always accurate.
  • I wish I could set up Google Suite products as separate workspaces.

Its pretty performant on my GPU based laptop as it can use the hardware to accelerate processing. However it is memory hungry. If I had a normal amount of RAM on my laptop I wouldn't imagine it would be a little slower

I have only had to use their support a couple of times, but was able to get an answer and things resolved within a couple of hours. There was no issue with contacting them, received responses and updates in a timely manner and they were able to resolve the small issues we had. It was a pleasure to work with them

I was completely satisfied with the implementation of Shift, rating it a 10. The process was straightforward and required minimal effort to get started. Key insights include the importance of pre-configuring the app with essential tools and accounts for the team to ensure a smooth transition. Shift’s intuitive setup and integration process allowed us to onboard quickly without disrupting workflows. Additionally, its user-friendly design made it easy for team members to adapt without extensive training.

I came from using a similar app called MailPlane, some of you older users might remember this app. It had a similar function to connect Gmail accounts so that I could use Gmail like a regular app. This app reached end of life and the developers no longer decided to keep the app active. I was then back into the market in search of a comparable app and my searched led me to fine Shift. I'm absolutely glad I did! 4 years later and I'm still using Shift. It was 2021 when MailPlane stopped selling licenses. If I remember correctly I switched to Shift around this time or possible before. All I know is I switched and never looked back and was extremely happy to find Shift.
