Honesty at its best

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We us ADP Workforce Now as our core HCM system, using Payroll, Tax, Performance, Scheduling/Performance System, Benefits, and Essential Time.

Prior to ADP Workforce Now, most these things were being done manually.

Pros

  • Payroll Processing
  • Reporting
  • Pay Policy functionality

Cons

  • Workforce Planning
  • Cumbersome Workflow set up
  • Communication, explanation, etc. with Tax Notices

Likelihood to Recommend

Workforce Now is great for smaller less complex companies. It's user-friendly but basic (which is why it's so user-friendly). When you add a large number of states and pay policies, for instance, things might start becoming more difficult to manage. The communication you need, just isn't there. The employees at ADP Workforce Now are there to perform functional duties, not necessarily having advanced knowledge. The ones that are at a tier 2 or 3 level, you can't talk to. It can be frustrating if you've gone from a very small company to a large one in the time we've been with ADP Workforce Now. But, I still love ADP Workforce Now and believe it's a great fit for a lot of companies.

ADP Workforce Now positive recognition

I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for the incredible support and guidance the implementation team provided us here at [...]. This team's assistance has been nothing short of outstanding, and I truly cannot thank them enough for the exceptional service they have delivered. From the very beginning, we’ve felt completely confident in every step of our journey with ADP Workforce Now. The clarity and guidance we’ve received have been immaculate, and at no point have we ever felt confused or unsure of what the next steps were. The communication has consistently gone above and beyond, and it has made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Pros

  • [...]'s teamwork is truly unmatched. She has hopped on many calls with us and always ensured any issues were resolved, or if it was beyond her scope, she quickly connected us with the right person to keep things moving forward.
  • [...] has been a great asset to us as well, ensuring that all the details were worked out and connecting me with the appropriate team members whenever necessary to assist us further.

Cons

  • 401k was not implemented properly
  • Screening and Selection services does not upload a background check result to the employee profile
  • Candidate's being hired will not transfer the offer amount over to their profile. So, you always have to go back to the recruitment/applicant page to see their offer when creating their employee profile.

I could go on for hours about how incredible this team has been, but I simply wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that each of them has shown. We are extremely grateful for their support, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everything they have done to help us along the way.

The most reliable HRIS

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used ADP Workforce Now at two companies. The first, we implemented ADP Workforce Now as we acquired international companies. The software helped the HR side of the transition go smoothly (and helped the HR team from going mad). The implementation team and support were knowledgeable, helpful, patient.

Now, I use ADP Workforce Now in a small company, where I am the whole department. Trusting that payroll is correct - that laws are watched and action is taken to update processes, deductions, what-have-you as those changes occur is such a relief. I use the recruitment feature which allows me to enter all the details ONCE and boom - we are posted everywhere. I love The Bridge to answer quick questions and discuss issues with fellow HR people.

I have used several systems over the years and recommend ADP Workforce Now above all others!

Pros

  • Easy reporting - especially building custom reports
  • The chat feature for quick questions and guided answers
  • Accurate Payroll

Cons

  • I wish I could edit our shift premiums
  • The vacation accrual does not always happen automatically
  • Some details of "how" things work are hidden and you have to call to dig in. I like to solve much myself.

During COVID, ADP Workforce Now was great about keeping up with changing laws and regulations. They built reports that helped us apply for PPP loans and then later apply for forgiveness. Webinars and other training avenues were well constructed, accurate, and informative. We were all at a loss together and having a partner who ensured the legal side was met was one less worry. They can easily do the day-to-day compliance and regulatory things. COVID highlighted how quickly it could be done.

ADP Workforce Now review

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ADP Workforce Now for payroll, time & attendance, PTO accruals/tracking/requests, reporting, document storage, on-boarding, HRIS. All employees use ADP Workforce Now for their check stubs, PTO requests, W2s, etc.

Pros

  • Managing multiple state payroll taxes
  • time and attendance
  • paid time off tracking and accruals

Cons

  • interfaces with ERP/accounting systems
  • cost accounting features linked to time and attendance
  • flexible reporting

Likelihood to Recommend

ADP Workforce Now offers many good features: time& attendance, PTO tracking, mobile app, HRIS functions. The LMS is unorganized and not as robust as it was sold to us. We're still waiting for a full-blown OSHA 10-hour training course to be added to the system. We were told it was planned to be added by September 2024.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization leverages ADP Workforce Now (WFN) as the central Human Capital Management (HCM) platform for managing employees across multiple veterinary hospitals and business units. It serves as the system of record for HR and payroll data and integrates with our IT processes.

Pros

  • Payroll Processing and Compliance
  • Seamless Employee Self-Service
  • Data Integration and Reporting

Cons

  • Integration Flexibility
  • Reporting complexity

Likelihood to Recommend

ADP automatically applies the correct state and local tax rules without requiring manual intervention.I feel that it also handles quarterly and year-end tax filings, which would otherwise require significant effort from payroll staff.

ADP Workforce Now Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ADP Workforce Now for payroll and HR within my organization. I don't have any current business problems. However, I have used Custom reporting in the past to help resolve dilemma's we have had.

Pros

  • I love the customer reporting. It allows us to get reports to make our company more efficient
  • ADP Workforce Now's payroll staff does a great job with helping with any payroll issue's that arrives.
  • ADP Workforce Now's HR is efficient with customer service and assisting of with our benefit need.

Cons

  • We love the ADP Workforce Now system however, some of the staff can be a little more knowledgeable on how the system works
  • There could be a bit more syncing of departments, I have been transferred between departments a lot
  • The support portal is nice however, sometimes explaining what's needed over a message isn't sufficient. I'd rather speak with someone

Likelihood to Recommend

I have called for help/assistance and was told that I had to submit my issue through the support portal. It's not always the best way to get what you need especially if it's urgent.

ADP Workforce Now has all the HR capabilities

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize ADP Workforce Now for various areas, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Performance Management, and soon, their Learning Management System. I love having a one-stop shop for employees and us admins. It makes it so much easier to keep things integrated and all areas up to date. It's nice not to have a dozen different programs and log-in information to remember for handling various HR tasks. I know the employees appreciate it too. Fewer platforms mean employees have less to remember and can easily complete their tasks without much help, if any, from HR. I have used other platforms previously and feel ADP Workforce Now's user-friendly platform and its capabilities top the competitors.

Pros

  • Benefits - Open Enrollment
  • Payroll
  • ADP SmartCompliance
  • Onboarding

Cons

  • Effective Dating in all areas, including custom fields
  • Address history

Likelihood to Recommend

I love that ADP Workforce Now offers all the areas HR needs. It certainly makes my job easier working with fewer platforms. ADP's different modules are integrated nicely, and the system is so user-friendly. Some areas I don't use as often or have only used once or twice, but I never have trouble figuring out how to use them. I also love their system resources, such as the Bridge. So much information there, and I love that you can interact with other HR professionals and ADP representatives.

10!!!! We love ADP Workforce Now and are grateful for the ease of use for our team and the ongoing support that has been provided. Starting at implementation I was clear that we made the right choice switching from our last HRIS. They still connect with us and I am happy to report that we do not see us moving from ADP Workforce Now any time soon.

ADP Workforce Now

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In our organization, ADP Workforce Now serves as the central HRIS platform, supporting multiple areas of human resources and payroll. We use it for core HR functions including employee data management, payroll processing and time/attendance tracking. One of my favorite features of the platform is the Field Grabber functionality. It allows us to capture and pull custom data fields that go beyond the standard reports, giving us flexibility and precision in our reporting. My second favorite aspect is the Data Analytics capability—the ability to generate graphs and charts, apply filters, and visualize information in a clear and actionable way is extremely valuable.

Pros

  • Data Analytics
  • Field Grabber
  • Customer Service (Ricard Franco is AWESOME)
  • Onboarding
  • Earning and Deduction Codes (easy to set up and use)

Cons

  • Customized pre-process payroll reports (Limited on pre-process payroll reports)
  • Labor Allocation (Allocations make payroll reporting very hard to review and find any errors )
  • Recruiting (ATS is very basic)
  • Geofencing (should be able to change shape rather than a circle)
  • Pay Classes (should be able to change at Practitioner level rather than reach out to support)
  • Cookies and Cache have to be cleared on a regular basis
  • Only able to see employee documents/acknowledgements one at a time in the employee file
  • Timecards can only be managed/viewed by 1 person
  • Timeoff emails do not have a link
  • Cost per payroll - not just monthly fee so cost with off cycle payrolls
  • Separate I9 step not needed - during onboarding - 2nd Everify step
  • ADP Workforce Now does not pull in allowances for Houly employees into payroll ONLY Salaried employees

Likelihood to Recommend

ADP Workforce Now Payroll is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The customer service team is excellent, and even if our account representative isn’t available, we’re usually able to connect with someone who can quickly help resolve any issues.
