I don't feel the lite version is worth the cost since you can only have 5 clients, so unless you have a higher premium account, it can still cost quite a lot. … Lite Services isn't worth the cost.

I only work with a few at a time, so the $0 cost of the entry level subscription has a fantastic ROI :). … My use case for Freshbooks is simple: track hours worked and expenses incurred for various clients/projects, send invoices to collect payment, track whether payment was received.

Or if you have employees that do a lot of client billing, then the $10/user cost is worth it. … We use it to send automated late payment reminders as well as subscription payments.

It is cheap software so ROI is reasonable if you believe it prompted at least one fairly significant invoice (>$750) to pay that otherwise would not have Should be thought of as an entry level... … FreshBooks pricing is based on the number of billable clients while QuickBooks online will charge additional for additional features regardless of number of billable clients.

I used the free version for as long as I could, which at the time only allowed you to have three clients (now it's one), and then had to pay the monthly fee of $19.95 plus tax.

Price- If you do not use all of the Freshbook features, it is a bit expensive for what you get unless you only have a few clients. … as an example, if I want to charge the client for a digital transfer fee, I can pick that item form a drop-down menu and it will even fill in the rate that I used in the past.
