The Ultimate solution for security

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

LogicMonitor has become the core tool for our security systems. We rely on it to keep track of our servers and ensure our systems are running smoothly. As a QA, I use it to figure out whether an issue reported by a user is a real problem or just a temporary glitch. It helps us avoid guessing by sending alerts and showing usage trends. In short, it is essential for monitoring our servers, cloud infrastructure, and key parts of the application. This setup ensures we're always aware of any potential issues and can address them quickly.

Pros

  • Keep our system secure and bugs free.
  • Stop the outside access to our systems immediately.
  • Our server data is secure from outside access or unauthorized access.
  • The automation has reduced the manual work to minimum.
  • It is growing with our system, handling more devices without slowing down.
  • It has become easy to use, even for people who are not tech experts.

Cons

  • Dashboard should be more easy to use for new users.
  • User Interface should be fast while showing the graphs and or switching views.
  • Alerts should be more customizable so we do not get so many alerts.

Likelihood to Recommend

I do not remember a specific case, but a while ago, while working on a project, we had not deployed it yet. Someone tried accessing our project data from outside, using our company server. Luckily, LogicMonitor blocked that user and gave us the exact IP address. So, I would say it is really good at preventing unauthorized access.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use LogicMonitor to keep track of how our IT systems and cloud services are running and what they cost. It helps us spot the areas where we are overspending but not using those resources efficiently. Before they become costly issues, it alerts people to the minor ones. We use this data to plan our budgets to make investments accordingly.

Pros

  • It gives us live cost tracking.
  • It gives early warning signs of issues.
  • We get detailed breakdowns of problems.
  • It grows with us.

Cons

  • It feels too technical for finance folks.
  • Cost tracking by team is challenging.
  • It has limited access to financial resources.

Likelihood to Recommend

It has helped us with a lot of issues, including budgeting and security issues, so I would give it a nine out of ten. We were planning our budget for this quarter, from July to September, with the help of the LogicMonitor report from our systems. We were able to forecast our next 3 months expenses problems, and it always keeps our security at top-notch.

Best security system of genration

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My team and I use LogicMonitor to protect our data from internal system errors and to protect our systems from external attacks. About 200 laptops and systems are used by our organization, and they are all protected by it. Most of our data is extremely classified, so it must be kept safe because if it is leaked, our company will permanently fail. That is why we use LogicMonitor to keep our business safe and running.

Pros

  • It keeps our financial data and client details safe.
  • Our systems have less ratio for system crashing and all.
  • Our team gets to focus on our primary business operations.
  • It keeps our systems safe from outside attacks as well.

Cons

  • Cost can be high for smaller organizations.
  • Reporting tools could have been better.
  • It should have a simpler user interface.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would love to recommend it to anyone. If someone from outside pays our employees a substantial sum of money to leak our data, it will negatively impact our business, which has grown as a result of protecting our clients' data. No one can steal our data, not even our employees, because if they connect any pen drive or hard disk, then it will generate the alert to the admin.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It has been a while since we started using LogicMonitor. We used to ensure that all of our company's systems operated safely. LogicMonitor is always there to keep our systems running smoothly. It alerts us at the correct moment if anything goes wrong with our systems. It also informs us if any of our systems require any upgrades. Even our non-tech team members can easily understand if the dashboard is showing system health and performance.

Pros

  • Smart alerts.
  • Easy-to-read dashboards.
  • It always finds the real problem fast.
  • Connects with our other tools easily.
  • It automatically finds new servers or systems we add.

Cons

  • Limited Alert Options.
  • Basic charts should be advanced.
  • Bettercloud support is required.

Likelihood to Recommend

The example I will give will explain my rating for it. One employee left our company due to a personal issue, and at that time, our team was working on a highly secure project. He wanted to take revenge on our company, so he began hacking our systems from the outside. Since it appears that someone without authorization is attempting to access our systems, LogicMonitor simultaneously alerted our team to the problem. We stopped that threat with LogicMonitor.

Reliable monitoring that scales with our business.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize LogicMonitor to gain unified visibility across our hybrid infrastructure, encompassing both cloud services and on-premises systems. It helps us catch issues early, especially during our busy times, like examination time. We have connected it with our alert system to fix the issues quickly. It helps us plan ahead for our online examinations, which are conducted for many of our clients.

Pros

  • It shows us system issues right away so we can fix them fast.
  • It finds new devices on its own, so we do not miss anything.
  • It alerts us only when something really unusual happens.
  • Its dashboards make it easy for everyone to see system health.
  • It helps us see trends so we are ready for busy times.

Cons

  • Alert tuning can be complex.
  • Some integrations need more customization or easier setup.
  • Report customization could be simpler.

Likelihood to Recommend

We have several government departments and universities as our clients, and we conduct online examinations for them. Therefore, our servers require additional security to prevent unauthorized access to our systems remotely without our permission. We were performing an examination for one of our clients when someone from outside attempted to access our systems by creating a backdoor to our servers. Our team was busy handling the examination process and ensuring its smoothness. However, thanks to LogicMonitor, we were alerted at the right time, and we were able to save our data and clients' information with its help.

I have given it a perfect score, and I have a perfect explanation, or perhaps I should say a perfect example, for my decision. Approximately 10 days prior, one of our employees connected his USB drive to our systems. Once he did that, our system started hanging due to a virus on the pendrive, and our systems began acting differently. However, thanks to LogicMonitor, we received an alert indicating that one device was connected to our system. Our IT team and LogicMonitor resolved our issue and brought our systems back online in minutes.

I use LogicMonitor to monitor both our own devices and client environments. It’s the main tool for our Enterprise NOC to manage issues and create tickets from alerts and we’ve also tied it into other systems using its API to build out custom workflows.

  • it avoids agent-based monitoring completely

Likelihood to Recommend

LogicMonitor is for enterprise teams looking for deep visibility and it’s helped me reduce response times, especially during on-call hours, also it has multiple tools in single a platform, it’s a solid choice, so I’d definitely recommend it.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our team uses LogicMonitor to monitor all of our team systems. Their location does not matter to us, as those employees are on-site, hybrid, or remote. Our work is growing daily, so we can monitor the systems, and if we encounter any issues, we can immediately fix them and return to work at full capacity.

Pros

  • Automatically Finds New Devices.
  • Ready-to-Go Monitoring Setups.
  • Smart Alerts.
  • Keeps an Eye on Everything.

Cons

  • Setting Up Alerts Can Be Confusing.

  • Hard to Use Some Advanced Tools.

Likelihood to Recommend

We use LogicMonitor to keep our systems free of bugs. If any issue arises, like once our team was working on the systems and one of the employees created a virus for fun, our team was terrified by it, as if we were under attack. Still, LogicMonitor was there to help us stop that virus, and we were back on our feet in less than an hour. We also faced an issue where our team could not use all the customizations. We felt stuck, but LogicMonitor helped us out of it in a few minutes.

LogicMonitor monitors all our company systems and ensures they run smoothly, so we do not encounter sudden issues. It helps me quickly find issues and fix them, which makes it very reliable for my company's systems and me. We also use it to plan for future growth.

Pros

  • Automated alerting.
  • Capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Proactive issue detection.
  • Easy integrations.

Cons

Likelihood to Recommend

I would recommend it to my friends because there was a time when an external hacker attacked our systems. We did not know that because they entered our systems by creating a backdoor. Still, LogicMonitor alerted us about it, showing that external users had breached the system/data, and we could stop them with its help.

LogicMonitor helped us see what other tools missed and we were able to set it up and get insights within minutes.

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use LogicMonitor to gain a comprehensive view of our application infrastructure and to monitor both client and internal environments. It is especially helpful in identifying issues that other vendor platforms couldn’t detect or completely miss. We’ve also used it across cloud and on-prem setups, and all of these can be managed from one place, too.

Pros

  • very easy to deploy built-in monitors across different devices and get it up running.
  • The dashboard has enabled our management team to view network activity from a single location.
  • The ability to write my data sources is impressive, as it allows me to monitor what matters to my business, not just the default information.

Cons

  • I think the billing model could use a refresh, as I'd like to only pay for what we use, especially as an MSP.
  • Bringing in devices that aren’t already in their system can be a bit tricky and sometimes takes some extra effort.
  • When a site goes down, we receive a flood of alerts—one per device, which becomes overwhelming and noisy quickly.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you have a mixed environment, such as cloud, hardware, or virtualization, LogicMonitor is worth considering, as it significantly reduces troubleshooting time. Being able to see everything in one place makes life easier. I’d say make sure your team knows what they want out of it first, and then buy it.
