At the time, we started by implementing a project-based time billing system and hourly charges. Where employees could record their times on a stable platform and anywhere. The implementation was at that time for the entire organization, which were three offices in the country and with about 150 constant users. Additionally, records of expenses on account of the client such as courier and others were included.

A reasonable price.
Relatively easy climbing possibilities.
Brand reputation value of Thomson Reuters.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is extremely suitable for the client since for us they are all US-based companies, even though the main headquarters of our business is in Mexico. It is less appropriate in terms of usability than taxes, since it does not include adaptability to Mexican legislation, and its deployment through customizations and reports is extremely expensive.

Even when its implementation was painful, we found an improvement of about 35% reduction in the time invested in recording billing times and expenses for our clients.
In our experience, the use of the CS suite will return the investment in less than a year of use.

Usability

The platform is stable even though a version for MacOS is also missed. In general, the user management and administration process is intuitive and once the roles are defined it is simple and easy. However, the user experience has become out of date in relation to other web-based platforms currently available on the market.

Support Rating

They are great, their support and knowledge in the implementation and after-sales service was really incredible. Although the cost of its tailor-made reporting service is somewhat expensive and inflexible, once the survey was carried out and the plan was drawn up, it was fully fulfilled in a timely manner. We miss a support in our native language, since we only find English as a means of contact with them.

Allows users to create associations, groups, locations, or property types to categorize each asset.
Fixed Assets CS can be deployed in a virtual office setting or as a SaaS application.
Fixed Assets CS also supports common depreciation methods.

Likelihood to Recommend

Fixed Assets. CS offers an excellent selection of built-in asset and depreciation related reports including Asset detail, asset list, property detail, and much much more. They also have a ton of forms such as 4255,4562,4792 and other worksheets in the application. All these reports can be easily customized, which allows you to specifically tailor them to your company's client. They can also be exported to Excel as well.

I give the rating of an 8 because the users in my company have little or no complaints when using the software. There are many features and add-ons for the program which allow for deep customization that they can tailor to each client individually which allows them to provide world-class services that help our firm succeed. On top of the features, implementation is seamless, and creating accounts is a breeze from the Administration side.

Support Rating

Support for Thomson Reuters is very in-depth as they have a ton of knowledge articles that help troubleshoot common issues and gives a launching pad for users to learn more about the product and help them use the tools effectively and efficiently. When needed, reaching out to the live support is always prompt and we are able to effectively work past any issues that come up.

This product is best suited for public accounting firms. I would recommend this to small-medium sized accounting firms as I believe they can best utilize the multiple services provided by CS Professional Suite. The ability to access server files and review changelogs/audit logs/ and other pertinent information allow for a strong level of collaboration between employees.

Not authorized to view the large scale picture of Thomson Reuters CS Suite on ROI, however, it has been a part of the business model for years with constant updates and is only getting more and more efficient as time goes on.

Alternatives Considered

Not included in the selection process of Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite, however, in my team at the company using the product, it has developed in large leaps. From implementing the required changes resulting from changes in tax law to industry-specific hurdles such as additional support during tax season, this product has been trust-worthy and reliable throughout my use.
