Pros

  • High accuracy in identifying and filtering invalid email addresses
  • Fast processing speeds for both individual and bulk email lists
  • Effective in reducing email bounce rates and protecting sender reputation

Cons

  • Ambiguity and lack of detailed logic for "catch-all" email validations
  • Pricing concerns, particularly for smaller businesses or pay-as-you-go plans
  • Output file format for bulk validation (multiple zipped CSVs instead of a single file)

Love it

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We've used ZeroBounce for years to validate emails on our outreach lists. We were experiencing high bounce rates (~4% at times) and after we started using ZeroBounce our bounce rate hasn't even hit 1% - love how they score catchalls for us too.

Pros

  • Validate Emails
  • Score Catchall Emails
  • Flexible Billing Options

Cons

  • Price is higher than competitors
  • Catchall scoring is expensive and takes forever - it never used to take this long and Catchall scores were available in the first export

Return on Investment

  • Reduced Wasted Spend on Bad Email Address by +4%
  • Reduced need to purchase and warm up new sending accounts due to bad deliverability

The best and cheapest option to validate emails

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ZeroBounce to safeguard our domain because we send a high volume of emails each week. With multiple mailing lists, it's crucial for us to test email addresses in advance to ensure they are valid. This practice helps minimize the risk of being blocked due to previous bounce rates.

Pros

  • Score Emails (Catch All)
  • Blacklist Monitoring

Cons

  • Email Finder could be better at identifying the right email

Return on Investment

  • Improved Deliverability
  • Improved Brand Credibility

Improving Email deliverability with Zerobounce.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Zerobounce for email validation (including catchall IDs) before every email outreach campaign. One Major concern for us is the catch-all email, as it has a 50% deliverability ratio. We can't take a risk on it, so we went with Zerobounce validation, which will handle both kinds of validation and give us the results. We thought that catch-all results would be given after 24 hours. It works for us.

Pros

  • Bulk List validation up to 25 IDs per action is useful in some situations, as we don't want to create a CSV file every time, and for this smaller number.
  • We sometimes use the email Finder option when we can't find an email for a person on any other platform.

Cons

  • Navigating among bulk validation, CSV upload, and single-ID validation is hard, and sometimes finding them or switching between them can be made more user-friendly.
  • Results: After bulk validation, we receive the results in a Zip file, which is useful sometimes but not every time, as we have to un-zip, and there will be a different CSV file for each result. The final results can be made simple, like email ID in column A, results (valid or Invalid) in column B.

Return on Investment

  • A better pricing for Pay-as-you-go will help us a lot.
