Overall Satisfaction with 6sense
We have used 6sense for ABM for the last 3 years, and sales for the last 1. The biggest problem it addresses is bringing light to account engagement. We're able to see when an account is at risk to be lost to a competitor, or if they're highly engaged with our product. In an ideal world, we would use the data to fuel our outreach. However, most of the intent is anonymous so there is still a need for work on the back end. I would say without 6sense sales would be throwing a dart at a dart board with their eyes close, and with 6sense they're open. So they have a better idea of who may be interested, but are still not 100 percent sure.
Pros
- Intent engagement
- deanonymize website traffic
- advertising
Cons
- Sorting for regional sales
- Customer success
- Less noisy data
- Engagement data
6sense does a great job at matching intent signals. The problem is the way they master the accounts. We work on a regional basis and they master based on account then country. We just have to take a few extra steps to get the data sorted correctly.
They do a great job at bringing together high intent, but it is difficult to determine what action items to take with that data. I think right now, we can use more guidance on - ok, we have this data and now what.
6sense sales team spent a lot more time with me building out a use case and example to take back to my team. I appreciated the support and felt confident in getting the help I needed to implement the tech.

Using 6sense
10 - We have users from sales and marketing. We are currently working on expanding our use case to ensure we are getting the full value from the platform since it is a substantial cost for us. Currently, it is mostly utilized for sales and ABM. We want to enable more of marketing such as the content, industry, and social teams.
1 - As of now, we currently have only one 6Sense expert internally. They are responsible for the day to day house keeping of data, training, and success. They work with the different teams to gather feedback and implement/make changes requested. As well as build a success plan for 6Sense use case.
