Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office)

8x8 is being used company-wide, but primarily by myself and dispatch. The techs use the app in the field to call customers. When a customer calls back, the call is routed directly to dispatch.

Pros

  • Sound quality is excellent.
  • Voicemail to email is an asset.
  • Routing and managing where calls go within the company have made life so much better.

Cons

  • Onboarding process. I would like more step by step communication. I just need to know what to do, how, and when.
  • We won't be missing anymore calls.
  • Won't be answering non-emergency calls after hours either.
I haven't used any other phone system like this in the past.
The guy we have been working with has been on the ball and very helpful. Highly recommend.

The onboarding process could use an update. There were points when I was confused with the next steps.
Creating the auto attendant was quick and easy. Our account manager was extremely helpful in making that process easy.
