Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

We began using AC primarily for managing email leads from our FB Lead Ad campaigns. It didn't take long for us to incorporate automation, customized emails, and notifications. Then we discovered the CRM capabilities and this has been a huge help and cost savings.

As the leads come in from FB we set up the automation to send out emails, SMS messages, and the system adds the lead to the top of the CRM processes specific to the type of lead. We use Zapier to connect FB Lead Form to our AC Lead Form (flawlessly).

  • The CRM is fully integrated and customizable and included in the price
  • Creating custom forms is drag-n-drop easy - again, no developers needed
  • Teaching - always some webinar or email offer to learn some new aspect of AC
  • Landing page design can be improved by upgrading the dragndrop.
  • More templates for landing pages and emails
  • adding more templated plug-n-play full campaigns
  • ability to import campaigns, templates from other AC users
  • AC has native connectivity to Salesforce so this saved us a huge developer cost
  • The built in CRM functions allowed us to save on our Salesforce expense
  • The general level of connectivity with AC and other applications (ie. websites, FB, ClickFunnels, Salesforce, Microsoft, Schedulers, etc.) has saved us thousands and months on developers
You've got to know what you want the software to do and then find software that covers as much of those needs as possible. AC had most of the features we wanted - mostly native connectivity with Salesforce and scalability. Their support structure was a HUGE selling point too. They are incredibly helpful and very customer oriented. I've always been able to connect with someone that was able to help me and find a solution.

I've used almost every autoresponder out there and they're all good for certain processes but AC is the only one I'd use for what I need in this company (insurance leads and sales management across over 100 insurance agents).

I've found AC to be best suited to corporate or businesses that need a CRM feature. If you're an affiliate marketer or eCommerce marketer there are better-suited autoresponders with specific features for those activities. AC is very scalable on the front and backend (number of leads and number of users).
