Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak

We have about 80% of our business as remote and in other time zones/ countries. We use this to manage and track productivity and URL usage by each employee and compare to the time they clocked in for the day.

Pros

  • Easy Categorizing on URL
  • Easy Portal to use
  • Easy to do not track

Cons

  • Tracking in schedule issues - tracks outside of schedule
  • Doesn't track in schedule - will not track sometimes in the set schedule
  • Cannot categorize by department. Makes it not as accurate
  • Negative - I manually am having to track and fix if something isn't working each day.
  • Positive - We can see if someone is unproductive and adjust as needed.
  • Positive - We can see if someone should be more active with more workload.
  • I like that it shows different passive / productive levels
We don't use workforce.
We can see where someone is more productive than the other and adjust the workload as needed.
We cannot use this for process management since you cannot categorize by role / department.

It can give an overall picture of productivity, but not nitty gritty how managers would like to see by department. The support is also not as helpful to figure out fixes or support on issues.
