ActivTrak Newly Implemented

ActivTrak is used to assess employee engagement and productivity. The use of Alarms allows us to identify any potentially harmful behavior and ensure that our team is using their company-issued equipment appropriately. As a relatively new user of ActivTrak, we are not using it to its full potential yet, which includes not allowing our teams access to their data. This is a potential solution for the future and could be implemented in any organization.

The constant reporting has allowed us to determine where our teams are overworked. Seeing employees log in at 7:30a and off at 6:00p is a clear indicator that a shift in workload needs to happen before those individuals experience burnout. On the other hand, being able to easily identify unproductive time (like Youtube and social media) gives us the visibility into downtime our teams have.

As a small business, sharing work is almost an expectation. ActivTrak is relatively new to our business, but we have been able to determine where specific employees are underutilized, and thus make changes to the workload around their area of focus. As a fully-remote business, this is especially important as the office dynamics don't exist in our model.

We have not made any adjustments to process workflows just yet, but resource utilization is definitely something we're keeping an eye on. Using a time tracking system is one thing, but actually being able to see how employees are leveraging their day is another. ActivTrak gives us a level of visibility we've never had before.
