Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I often use Adobe Acrobat to proof work on to create fillable business documents. This helps sending documents to coworkers.

Pros

  • Being easy to use to preview documents
  • Loading complicated files well
  • Viewers accessibility

Cons

  • The UI is clunky to use and for non designer users is often off-putting
  • Editing can be laggy
  • Can crash sometimes when opening complicated documents.
  • Laggy when editing.
  • It's good at preserving the edibility of certain documents created in other Adobe programs or vector/PSD.
  • Other
It's the standard and comes with Adobe Creative Cloud.
As far as I know, when making secured documents, the encryption software has been good with maintaining the security of password protected documents.
It doesn't really stack up, but it's important to have a dedicated PDF viewer and it integrates well with those programs but obviously can't replace them whatsoever.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat is pretty much the go to PDF viewer. It has way more functionality and capabilities than preloaded PDF viewing software. But it is often laggy and most of the people using the product are those who don't know how to use image editing software. The software could be made to be more user accessible for these people in mind but for me I can easily use it.
