Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Campaign

We use Adobe Campaign across the whole organization, worldwide (America, Europe, Asia, Oceania).

Adobe Campaign is used to collect, transform and clean data (as an ETL and as a central database), in order to have business+strategy global reports (for decision makers and day to day marketing managers) and to develop omnichannel marketing campaigns.

Pros

  • Easy database updates, setup, hierarchy, links, fields.
  • Comes with a lot of standard features.
  • Javascript engine for custom things.

Cons

  • Hard to use interface.
  • Hard to use the syntax ('myvariable' vs myvariable both appear as myvariable in editors).
  • The Javascript editor isn't developed well. We'd love to use our internal tools and setup (atom, git).
Adobe Campaign is better at custom features with Linux/Javascript/FTP possibilities but the rich client has nothing to do compared to Salesforce.
It's a framework so it can be used and tweaked to fit any model.
