Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Experience Manager

Adobe Experience Manager was used at a previous position I had held. I loved using this to manage all web / social presence in one place. This was great for apps, form responses, and web contact us page forms. It helped us have an overall better digital experience being able to connect these all to one universal system.

Pros

  • Organizing and Obtaining information from form results
  • Maintaining a strong digital experience from one place
  • strengthening our online experience as a brand

Cons

  • The training aspect of Adobe Experience Manager could have been a bit more streamlined
  • It was a bit tricky to connect to our socials as they are Meta
  • Sometimes the platform would take a while to load
  • increased customer engagement across our website and socials
  • saved money on other data analytics tools / easier to use than meta business suite for socials
  • increase in emails opened by 32% in one year
I think that this platform is definitely easier to use than some more complex data analytics tools. it was nice to explore results in one platform without having to use a lot of sql. it is easy to understand how the platform works, but it is a little tricky to learn at first.
  • I really like Core Components because they are flexible, reusable, and follow best practices out of the box. They reduce custom development, improve consistency across pages, and make upgrades easier. Using Core Components has helped me deliver faster implementations while maintaining performance and accessibility standards.
  • The SPA Editor stands out because it allows modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular to integrate seamlessly with AEM while still enabling authors to edit content visually. This feature has helped bridge the gap between developers and content authors, allowing teams to build dynamic, app-like experiences without sacrificing authoring control.
  • Multi-Site Management has been extremely valuable for managing multiple sites and regional variations. It helps maintain brand consistency while still allowing local teams to customize content when needed. MSM has helped streamline global rollouts and significantly reduce content duplication and maintenance effort.
I selected Adobe Experience Manager because it was the easiest to connect to our platforms, the best cost for the size of our company, and I was using Adobe for almost everything else at the time. I think this was the best solution for our smaller company at the time.

Do you think Adobe Experience Manager delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Experience Manager's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Experience Manager live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Experience Manager go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Experience Manager again?

Yes

I would say that using Adobe Experience Manager is great for graphic designers like myself that were using other adobe tools to design things. I think that it went well together and also was easy to use since I was with a smaller company at the time. When you are coding a website vs using a template, this can get a bit trick at times.
