Very detailed, lot's of options for customization
3rd party integration , large catalogue of plugins
easier than the JavaScript method of implementing Adobe analytics

Steep learning curve.
Documentation could be more fleshed out.
Support from Adobe team is lacking in my opinion.

More feature packed and ability to customize.

Although it takes a bit of learning, it's very robust and the changes are published instantly.

Could be better. Not enough comprehensive documentation or support.

If you are using Adobe Analytics, you must have Adobe Launch as well. It can also be used standalone as a tag management system which is pretty robust as it contains all the options for hosting tags, like using a pre-configured plugin or pasting the entire custom code as-is.
