My two-cents about ADP Workforce Now

Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Currently, I am the only user of Workforce Now. Since the upgrade last summer, I am the one who inputs our payroll. My assistant used to know how to process payroll, but she hasn't learned the new system yet. I prefer to have a backup for payroll. The system isn't hard; it's remembering the steps that can be difficult when you only process payroll monthly.

Pros

  • Manual check calculations - what if scenarios for employees wanting to change 401(k) contributions, etc.
  • Vacation availability.

Cons

  • Grid screens for updating benefits or vacation (used/allotted).
  • Easy to use system allows me to get the job done quickly so I can move onto other projects.
Sure, there are competitive products out there, but we've used ADP since the company was formed. If it ain't broken, we don't need to change anything.
Workforce Now allows me to easily pay bonuses to our staff members. It's nice to get immediate feedback on payroll processed so I can review and accept or reject. I like the ease of obtaining reports.
