Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We use ADP Workforce Now for our HRIS needs, payroll, time and attendance tracking, and performance. ADP Workforce Now is used by every employee. For us, it is a one-stop shop to serve all HR needs for our employees and managers, which makes the HR process more efficient and streamlined.
- ADP Workforce Now's payroll system works incredibly well. With our recent upgrade from version 2 to version 11 (and now much higher), everything is easier to navigate and user intuitive.
- ADP Workforce Now's time and attendance system is very user-friendly for managers. Clearing only necessary exceptions for managers became a huge time saver.
- Our employees are so used to employee self-service, that they no longer need reminders to enter any changes they wish to make. Not to mention, we are almost completely paperless!
- Being able to put our policies online, and having employees electronically sign-off is one of my favorite features! It saves us from printing, sending to each employee, and then waiting for everyone to return them to us, nagging employees, and finally....filing the signed policies. Honestly, I don't know how I would handle going back to paper policies.
- ADP Workforce Now has recently implemented a performance module. It needs a lot of help, but it's a growing process for everyone involved. At this point, it's very rigid and there are some known errors that can't be fixed until the the fall upgrade.
- Sometimes you'll get a service member who doesn't know the answer, or isn't willing to go the extra mile and let you know all of the ramifications of making changes. Often, I find I get satisfaction surveys on the really good calls, but not on the calls that could use improvement.
- There are so many specialties within ADP Workforce Now, that each specialty has its own service team. They don't always seem to work well with each other or know much about the other specialty.
- We haven't done ROI studies on ADP Workforce Now.
- We do know it saves us countless hours on manual time entry, ACA reporting, paperless policies, and paperless reviews.

During my tenure, however, we have moved to paperless policies and performance reviews. Because everything is done in ADP Workforce Now, it does save us the filing of 2 annual reviews and 5-8 policies each year and the time to manually check completed reviews and policies.

We have used ADP Workforce Now the entire time I have worked here. In 2014 we contracted with Cornerstone for our performance management. To use Cornerstone's product this year, would have been $10,000 per year. By switching to ADP's performance, we saved that money. The kinks aren't all worked out, but our employees are fabulously patient and know it will be easier to have everything in one place in the long run.
I found Cornerstone's end result to be amazing. However, the back end processes were clunky and not at all user-friendly without hours of training. ADP's new performance system is far more intuitive for the administrator.
