Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is primarily used for payroll. For example, you are able to access previous paychecks, calculate salaries, and enter the number of hours worked each day on a time card. It is primarily used for the agency that I am contracted with and am unsure whether the entire organization is implementing it for all of their contractors.
  • Great payroll tool
  • Easy to use
  • Better UI
  • Needs a better mobile app
  • Effective time tracker
  • Good use of financial tools
I have once looked at Ultimate for one of my family members and did not notice whether or not it had similar tools. It was, however, when I had accepted the job offer, mandatory to use this to track and keep the time card availability, so I did not have an option to choose different tools.
It is more suited for the workforce, especially those in contract and consulting positions. I am unsure whether the other systems, such as Ultimate, would provide other tools, such as salary calculators, but so far it works for me. It would not be completely appropriate if the employer has their own payroll system.

Using ADP Workforce Now

1 - This application is primarily used for time sheets and payroll. For example, you enter your time in the time sheet (which management needs to approve) and then you may also access payroll items, such as pay stubs and hourly / salary calculators.

I am the only contractor in my department that uses this application; however, there may be others in different departments at American Airlines that are contractors who may use this application as well, depending on the recruiting agency.

ADP Workforce Now Training

  • Online training
  • Self-taught
The instructions from the recruiting agency on how to use the system was pretty straightforward.

It provided step-by-step procedures on where you would need to log in your hours as well as what you would need to highlight (i.e. regular, overtime, etc.) detailing the type of hours that were worked overall. The handout also provided some pictures of the application.
Yes, it was fairly easy to understand as far as how to use it. This was not the only system that I had to use to punch in a time sheet. The first one was the old design (and this one that I'm reviewing now is the new design, which is fairly simple).
