Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP Workforce Now for time & attendance and payroll. We also pay partners and 1099 doctors. We are getting ready to implement onboarding and recruitment. We use Makeshift for scheduling.
  • Time clocks at remote locations.
  • ADP feeds into Makeshift for easy scheduling.
  • Store employee documents in the cloud.
  • I was told for over a year that I couldn't get a payroll report broken down by clocked in location. I finally found someone to help with this, but it was frustrating that so many customer service people in multiple departments had no idea how to do this.
  • You have to manually update Makeshift for every newly added employee.
  • Corrected W-2 process is unnecessarily complicated.
  • No online chat. You have to call for support and wait times can be long.
I’m not in HR. - This isn't quantifiable because we have always used ADP Workforce Now.
I think it's more than most smaller companies would need, but if you have multiple worksites or need online timeclocks, it's great. The ability to recruit and onboard via ADP Workforce Now is a huge plus, and these are reasonably priced options. If you know how to do payroll taxes, I'd recommend doing your own rather than have ADP do it for you.
