This system is not for everyone, but is good once it is up and running
Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We use ADP Workforce Now for Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Recruiting, and Performance Management. Its primary function is to relieve some of the burdens on our HR Department by providing a one-stop-shop for all of our separate functions and reducing the need for multiple separate programs to accomplish the same tasks.
Pros
- Benefit Enrollments - The fact that the employee can complete their enrollments and then have those feed to their benefits profile, once approved, and to have the deductions post to their payroll profile without manual data entry.
- Automatic updates - Always being on the current version of the platform without a special upgrade.
Cons
- Updates are not always thoroughly and will result in some features not working correctly after update.
- Some of the customer service representatives do not understand that you know what you are doing, and will make you repeat the same trouble-shooting tips, multiple times, before they will work to resolve the issue.
- Utilizing ADP for multiple areas of HR has reduced the amount of time spent on tasks and helped to reduce headcount.
- Payroll processing is constantly improving, which allows for time to focus on other tasks.
- ADP has connection files for all of our benefit vendors. This ensures that the vendor always has the current enrollment information for our population.
- Our LMS connects to ADP as well. This allows for a single sign-on, and our employees do not have to remember a separate login and password.
Connection file tasks are usually completed by the vendor and ADP together, with little help from us.
