Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is being used by our HR team as HRIS, our Finance team as a payroll system, and our other employees (Operations supervisors, managers, etc.) as HCM. It is also used by each employee as a way to retrieve their paystubs, view tax statements, enroll in company benefits, and edit their personal profiles. It is helping us overcome the problem of having multiple employees at multiple different locations. We can keep everything in one system, accessible to everyone.
  • API feeds
  • Ease of use for non-tech savvy users
  • FMLA tracking
  • Benefits center
  • Increased visibility for direct supervisors/managers to their employees
  • Automation of work
Though I am an "administrator" at my company, there are others on my team who are more involved in the actual customization of our specific ADP system. Through all of the changes I have seen made though, it seems like ADP Workforce Now has most of the things we could need. And if not, it seems like they are willing to figure out a way around it or get as close to a solution as possible. There are so many customization fields that ADP has the ability to grow with us.
  • Insurance carrier websites/systems
  • The Applicant Manager
I was not involved in the integration of any of these, but from what I have heard or understand, it just took a little bit of back-and-forth and working out kinks before everything was good to go. But that is true with most every system. It seems like it has been successful so far, so any difficulty there was in integration, if any, seems worth it at this point.
I have not been at the company long enough to know what we used before ADP Workforce Now was implemented in 2014. It seems as though ADP had the best price, ROI, customization features, and variety that we would have been looking for. Its compliance features and workability are things that cannot be beat.
ADP Workforce Now is great as an HRIS and payroll system. I am mostly signed into my Administrator account, so I don't have much feedback on a normal employee view/use of it. ADP Workforce Now has the ability to track the many different things we have to track, and I love the ability to handle 1095s, background checks, carrier connections, etc., all right through ADP. The one thing that we use pretty frequently is the FMLA tracking feature, which I just feel could benefit from a bit of attention and updating.
