Adverity - A Scalable Data Solution
Overall Satisfaction with Adverity
We use Adverity to extract, transform, and load digital marketing data from various platforms (Google Ads, GA4, Facebook Ads, etc.) to an external data warehouse and an Adverity-owned data lake. We also use Adverity's in-built data visualization and exploration to create dashboards and reports for our clients. Adverity has dozens of pre-built API connections to various platforms, which makes managing extraction much simpler than using an in-house tool.
Pros
- Data Extraction
- Authorization Management
- Workspace Organization
- Data Governance
Cons
- Rigid data visualization tools
- Transformations are locked in to Adverity-specific ways of enriching data
- No integrations with standard tool sets like dbt or SQL
- Scale - the biggest advantage has been the ability to extract, transform, and load data for 150+ clients with a three-person team without a software or data engineering team to support. Adverity would easily allow us to scale up to double or triple the client load if needed.
- Templates - Another advantage related to scale, Adverity allows us to run a templated approach to extraction, transformation, and also data visualization and reporting so that onboarding is very fast. Typical clients with up to 15 data sources can be onboarded in as little as a couple of hours.
Other data extraction tools did not provide a similar ease of setup for the compared to the cost associated with those tools, and they were often not as transparent on data replacement and holding state. The visualization tools offered by Adverity are also a little easier to templatize vs. Looker and NinjaCat.
