Overall Satisfaction with Airtable
Airtable is currently used only by my department; however, I use it in my freelancing work as well to support clients' needs in many ways. It addresses the need for a robust database to track A/R interactions and to ensure that no past due invoices fall through the cracks. Airtable's easy to set up controls make it highly customizable.
- Extremely user-friendly interface
- Great integrations with other cloud software
- Cross-references and linking between different records
- I would love to see linking between work spaces or bases - this would allow for more functionality at an enterprise level.
- The new block functions are great, but are only available on paid versions. It would be greater to have a lite version of the blocks in the free version.
- Without a previous knowledge of coding, some of the functions can be confusing.
- Airtable has a huge positive ROI on my business objectives. It's helped me decrease our A/R collectible period.
- Airtable has streamlined my social media posting process which makes my clients happy and saves me time.
- Airtable has helped me do accurate time tracking, saving me $200 a month in unbilled time that I can now bill for.
Airtable is way more powerful than Trello, while still incorporating the Kanban boards. However, in Airtable, you can customize the Kanban boards since they are actually database records, allowing for a lot more functionality.
With the tagging feature in Airtable, it is also a lot more versatile than Basecamp in tracking projects and assigning tasks.
