Overall Satisfaction with AnyDesk

We have clients in UAE and we provide tech support to them from Bangladesh with the help of AnyDesk. We remotely support the technical issues of a large client in UAE and solve their tech issues over the internet. This is a ticket based system and the client has ove 800 employees distributed all over UAE with laptops and PCs. For any tech issue in those devices, we support remotely.

Pros

  • Access to any PC, laptop or server from remote location
  • Logging in remotely from a mobile device to a PC/Laptop while on the road.
  • Works well in low bandwidth.
  • Keeps log record of login sessions.
  • Shares alert on system downtime.

Cons

  • The video compression tool can be better to support low internet bandwidth.
  • The UX/UI can be better.
  • There can be more DIY tutorials for new users.
  • The session login can be simplified.
  • Can have 2-factor authentications with known authenticators.
  • we have three major clients in UAE who gives about 25% revenue of our company and we use AnyDesk for them
  • We can provide like first-person support to UAE from Bangladesh with AnyDesk
  • We use AnyDesk both internally and externally at our office. For clients as well for access to office servers remotely.
  • The management dashboard ensures that our servers are always up and running. It generates alarms if something is off.
The management dashboard is really helpful. The alarm panel and flag system is very good. Easy to use tools and tutorials make the app very handy. the UX/UI can be better but it's user-friendly and anyone can use the app from the scratch without any guidance. Overall, the app is a handy tool for remote connection to laptops/PCs.

Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan), Chrome Remote Desktop
This is a tool that practically solves problems of clients. For any remote desktop connection, this is the most reliable tool compared to any product from Microsoft or Google. This tool have so many advanced features that remote login becomes very easy and handy. The only drawback I feel is the lack of security measures that can be intensified with 2-factor authentication.

As AnyDesk has a remote access tool, it is easy to show clients how to do simple technical tasks on their remote pc/laptop just by loggin in from abroad.

Evaluating AnyDesk and Competitors

Yes - We were using CRD (chrome remote desktop and AnyDesk is a far better option for remote desktop management solutions with its dashboard, ease of use, UX/UI, reporting tools, session tools and support. CRD is a basic tool for remote desktop support but AnyDesk has far better features and support compared to CRD.
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
The easy of use was the most important feature for choosing AnyDesk on top of CRD and similar products. We had to recruit 20+ new engineers to support remote clients and we needed to make sure that the new recruits learn the remote access and use of the tool very quickly. the user-friendly UX/UI of AnyDesk was the perfect tool for this.
The evaluation and selection process will remain the same from my side. I liked the AnyDesk more compared to any other remote desktop connection software and we have used more than 5 softwares of this sort. Therefore, we are more than sure that AnyDesk is the best one for our need.
