Pros and Cons

Pros

Screen sharing, with AnyDesk address you can instantly connect with remote desk. very useful
Session recording, help us analyse meeting and get insights to improve demos and service
It can be used on mobile app as well, so if you are not near Laptop/PC, you can share screen on mobile

Cons

Security.. if AnyDesk is installed on mobile app, then Axis Bank app doesn't open for security reason, i have to uninstall AnyDesk to use Axis bank app
few times despite the internet connect it says client is offline

Return on Investment

It's easy and quick, saves our time, we could do more meetings, which has positive impact on our reveneue
We use good meeting tool to analyse our meeting, we use recording from AnyDesk :)
Highly recommended, we insist our clients as well to use it

Usability

Its been 7 yrs i have been using it, its easy, quick than other screensharing tools in the market. love it.

Alternatives Considered

Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and TeamViewer

Usablity for sure. other files are huge take lots of space, RAM, if the version is same you can't with that remote desk. Google Meet sometimes gives echo noise when we connect, so it dont use it much

Likelihood to Recommend

i was travelling, my client called for support, i used AnyDesk mobile app and sorted the issue, so really helps me to connect when i am travelling.

Giving access permissions to control screen. Some pop up msgs to be aware of like connecting to remote desktop, client is offline, permissions missing etc. missing permissions happen mostly with Mac

Evaluating AnyDesk and Competitors

Products Replaced

Yes - Ultra viewer, Google meet.

Google meet has a limitations where only host can control the screen, but many time the non host also has to control the screen. Also after connecting google meet occupies much screen with icons, option over the screen, hence full screen is not visible
