Overall Satisfaction with Appian

In terms of Appian production support, we have two tiers of supports within our organization, application support group and core Appian team group, support business users based on priority and SLA, and Appian support will be contacted if any urgent system issue, in general Appian support responses in a timely manner.
Our company bought Appian 6 years ago as the new BPM system to replace an old one from IBM. After that migrating existing and implementing new workflows have been going all the time. And it is now used by most of the business departments and has become one of the core platforms in IT.
  • Workflow runs in memory and faster than others based on rational database
  • New features and versions released in a fast way
  • Support and community runs well
  • Be able to refactor object names
  • Upgrades could be easier
  • Easy for HA on premises
  • Easy to implement
  • Less learning curve
  • Performance and best practices needs attention
Appian has been widely used by all different business groups including customer service representatives and back office clerks. Most of customer requests are processed by Appian, and it is one of core IT applications and now more business processes are being migrated to Appian platform from legacies
  • IBM
Supports and costs
It's a good fit for companies without existing and BPM platform and fewer legacy systems. It will be a little difficult if that is not the case.
