Overall Satisfaction with Asana
Currently, Asana is used across the whole company to keep everyone informed of what other areas are working on, how are their timelines and progress, and also to create requests such as new hardware requirements, software access, or even updates on the payroll. Having into account what I previously mentioned, the business problems that it addresses are project management, requirement management, and task grooming.
- Task grooming
- Sharing of project/product evolution across company
- reminders of incoming tasks
- On the board view, organizing more than one dimension for example having tasks of front and back in the same board while trying to keep track of the progress of each one in the same space
- Sharing of project/product evolution across company
- Reminders of incoming tasks
- Provide the ability to create requirements to different areas while giving a secure environment to do so
- Reducing time and complexity on cross areas requirements
- improving visibility of product/project management
- Atlassian JIRA Align (formerly AgileCraft)
Asana compared to Jira is certainly better in terms of user experience, since most of the people can start using it basically without having any kind of training or previous explanation, which makes it really useful not only for people already used to project management but also for people new in the matter and with a need of a tool that provides all that value in the quickest and better way
