Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization utilizes Asana for management of various projects, keeping up with things amongst departments, onboarding, offboarding, meeting agendas, a ticketing system of sorts, request management, and I am sure there are things that I am forgetting.

Improved forms, sometimes when creating or editing them they are a bit hard to navigate
Improved way to put data into a downloadable PDF/excel file

Return on Investment

Asana has allowed us unmeasurable ROI as we have implemented this organization wide and thus are able to project manager across departments - this helps everyone see what is going on and where we are on things

Usability

Asana does take some getting used to. Also, there is a lot of functionality within Asana so it is good to set a "base" as to how your organization is going to utilize Asana and provide your organization some basic training on this (training from within the organization on how the organization is going to use this tool).

Alternatives Considered

ClickUp

For us, ClickUp was only implemented by department whereas Asana was implemented organization wide.

Asana is great for project management amongst departments. Also great for HR to use for onboarding and offboarding employees.

Not always great as a ticketing type system.
