Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis

As a growing company, we decided we needed an integrated system. Ascentis has allowed us to do our own recruiting, onboarding, HR management ie benefits, compensation, etc., employee self-service plus our payroll. Implementation was longer than expected but the system works very well. Customer service is very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend Ascentis.

  • I always have to ask for my tax returns, they should be sent automatically or available through the payroll reports

Ascentis is more integrated and Paylocity is easier to use as it has the advantage of creating customized reports when needed. Paylocity downloads all tax returns and with Ascentis i have to request them, download and rename all the files. Paylocity's quarterlys are done in 2 weeks, Ascentis 6 weeks or longer.
Ascentis has allowed us to combine all HR, Payroll, ATS to make hiring to payroll a breeze.

Using Ascentis

1 - As the HR Director with 110 employees under 2 companies, i am the only one using Ascentis at this time. Before Ascentis i had
an HR Assistant but with Ascentis I do not need one any longer
I only use the Customer service team at Ascentis, no IT help here.
